"Donald Trump: The Eighth King of Prophecy"
by EisMe in9.“this calls for a mind with wisdom.
the seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits.
10.they are also seven kings.

I guess you could read anything into that prophecy depending on your definitions.
Exactly. Anything goes when you permit yourself to employ newspaper eisegesis to interpret scripture.
In other words, 80% of Revelation applies to our day alone and meant nothing to believers when it was written or to anyone before the 20th century.

Is the Governing Body hunting down PIMOs? LEAKED survey for select congregations in Canada
by liam init seems like the organization is hunting down pimos.
maybe the mark o donnell lawsuit is just the beginning.. this leaked survey in canada is asking some very weird questions from select publishers.
all i can say is that this will help wake up some pimi straddling the fence.

The following questions would be great to weed out the PIMOs that visit your home.
Opener: Are there any aspects of your religion that trouble you or perhaps make you uncomfortable...or is it all good?
1. Do you see your religion as being the only religion that God approves of?
2. Would you say that all other religions are essentially satanic or part of Satan's kingdom?
3. Do you believe that God is planning to destroy all other religions including the churches of Christendom along with their clergy and supporters?
4. Do you believe, perhaps with rare exceptions, that only faithful Jehovah's Witnesses have a scriptural hope of surviving Armageddon?
5. Do you believe that Jehovah's Witnesses who willfully and unrepentantly accept blood transfusions forfeit the hope of gaining eternal life?
6. Would you say that Witnesses are free to question and even disagree with what comes down from your religion's headquarters? (without repercussion?)
7. Do you know of any honorable way for a Jehovah's Witness to leave your religion? (In other words, can people leave the religion with their reputation intact?)
8. Do you believe that adult Jehovah's Witnesses, who either leave or are disfellowshipped from your religion, should be shunned?
9. If you somehow lost faith in your religion's primary leadership, would you lose your faith in God and the Bible?
10. Do you believe that the gospel Jehovah's Witnesses preach is the same gospel that Paul preached?

Armageddon Is Good News!
Barry McGuinnes writes:
"Armageddon is a ruin located in modern-day Israel. The word itself is a Greek transliteration of she Hebrew har məgīddō, meaning ‘Megiddo mountain’. But there is no mountain at Megiddo, only a small hill. It was the site of an ancient hilltop fort.
The reference to Armageddon in the book of Revelation simply states that it is the place where kings will gather to plan a forthcoming war. Why would kings meet on a hill that is no mountain?
Anyway, Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that ‘Armageddon’ — the gathering of kings — symbolically refers to things like the United Nations, whereby world leaders are conspiring (as part of Satan’s evil plan) to destroy God’s chosen people — you know, the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
But luckily for the Jehovah’s Witnesses, God will swiftly respond by committing global genocide against all non-JWs, perhaps with a nuclear holocaust, leaving what’s left of the Earth to be populated by those nice JW folk.
That’s why they can’t wait for WWIII to get underway.

The Good News Is: The Great-Crowd-Of-Other-Sheep Do Not Exist
by Sea Breeze inthe watchtower conflates two different groups into one fictional church-age group that according to the watchtower, are saved by works and faith/membership in the jehovah witness organization.
according to watchtower, only the now mostly dead 144k receive the promises of god regarding justification .
everbody else missed the boat and must work for their justification for a thousand years.

Probability of Earth and life being how it is
by ballistic inthere are some things we don't know about existence and whether the earth is a simulation or even a creation.
but we can do some statistical analysis on it.. the probability of a planet like earth existing in the goldilocks zone and having a moon that perfectly eclipses the sun is extremely low, but it's not impossible.
the habitable zone (or goldilocks zone) around a star is the region where a planet could potentially support liquid water on its surface.

Seeking JW friend
by Jujitz inhello: i'm currently not yet a jehovah's witness but i'm seeking a friend to help me to better understand their doctrine.
thank you.
david.
-
Vanderhoven7
Hate to disillusion you David, but the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses only appears to be biblical.
Every doctrine which is unique to JWs is not found in the Bible. If you would like a list of their extra-biblical teachings I will list them here for you and others.

Their are plenty of reasons to become one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Jehovah’s Witnesses are the happiest people on earth because they completely trust the Faithful Slave, i.e., 11 men in Warwick New York, to guide them to survival through the Great Tribulation and Armageddon.
Why should Witnesses worry when they are the only true Christians on earth today and theirs is the only organization that will make it into paradise. Witnesses therefore have come to the sole victorious Bible-based organization for salvation while Christendom, their churches and followers will be destroyed eternally because they are part of Satan's organization.
This uniquely new gospel is being preached throughout the whole earth today as Jesus instructed by the happiest people on earth.
Quick... come to Jehovah's organization for salvation.
