  Freddy Franz' Unrestrained Mind Control

  nowadays, the wt knows that it needs to tread gently when they execute their mind control tactics... modern jws now have iphones, facebook and better access to information in general.

  so their approach needs to be as subtle as possible.... jws in the 50s and 60s, on the other hand, had nothing but freddys ongoing barrage of guilt-inducing wt articles.

  heres a small sample of what jws were exposed to during that time.... ...we shall march forth organized theocratically, knowing organization procedures.

  JWs in the 50’s and 60’s, on the other hand, had nothing but Freddy’s ongoing barrage of guilt-inducing WT articles. Here’s a small sample of what JWs were exposed to during that time…

  · “…we shall March forth organized theocratically, knowing organization procedures.” –Watchtower November 1, 1950 page 418

  · “…we must gather information other than what this world has brought us up on, thus giving us a certain mental cast or structure.” –Watchtower October 15, 1951 page 620

  · “Many psychologists today are likewise instruments of the Devil…” –Watchtower May 15, 1955 page 292

  · “… theocratic control and direction is only over dedicated ones.” –Watchtower November 1, 1955 page 666

  · “Through taking in accurate knowledge, we change the bent of our mind […] It is a mistake to think that such a transformation can take place apart from the New World Society. Association with it and participation in its activities are absolutely necessary.” - Watchtower February 1, 1958 page 79

  · Whining and complaining might mean the loss of a job […] but that complaining will only bring the disfavor of his great employer, Jehovah, the God of production. –Watchtower June 15, 1961

  · “Jehovah knows what is going on in every congregation […] the Almighty Sovereign himself is in complete control of his visible organization.” – Watchtower August 1, 1967 page 467

  With the vast availability of instant information in the 21 st century (including the WT Library CD), would the WT still be able to retain membership if they continued to use the same unrestrained approach that Freddy used in the 50’s and 60’s? I look forward to your comments… thanks

  Thanks LD... I caught that too... So the WT now expects us to believe that the increasing number of memorial partakers in the last few years are really just random wannabes who aren't really "genuine". That almost sounds like they have this whole thing figured out... NOT.

  But the one thing that really made me cringe in this article was this statement at the end of paragraph 17...

  Nevertheless, the Bible does not state that Jehovah will wait until every individual on earth has received a personal witness. Rather, the good news must be preached to Jehovah’s satisfaction. Then the end will come.—Compare Matthew 10:23.

  So we should all just ignore everything that Freddy Franz ranted about his whole life!!! The really do make up this crap as they go along...

  there is a new website exposing the evils of the watchtower.

  it is called "the wet dreams of the watchtower".

  it will be hosted by two undercover jehovah's witnesses: bobby betheloid and sammy the circuit overseer.

  New Light @ The 2011 District Convention

  " at the bottom of the image on the back of the invitation raises some eyebrows, but last night in the routine district convention article during the service meeting, i caught that one of the paragraphs mentioned that we would be encouraged to keep a copy of the tract in hand for a discussion during sunday's last talk.

  my guess is, there is going to be some new revelation about what the "?

  " represents, or some other fangled idea.

  Nothing new... production is down, time to crank up the old FDS (that's Fear Doctrine System... NOT Faithful and Discreet Slave)... bad joke, i know...

  Anyway, it'll probably more of what recently came out in the Watchtower... March 15, 2011 (last page, paragraph 16):

  The urgency of the times we live in is underscored when we consider the inspired prophecy at Revelation 17:10. The seventh king, the Anglo-American World Power, has come into existence. Concerning it we read: "When he [the seventh world power] does arrive he must remain a short while." By now that "short while" must be near its completion. The prophet Habakkuk gives us this assurance concerning the end of this wicked system: "The vision is yet for the appointed time... Keep in expectation of it; for it will without fail come true. It will not be late.: -Hab. 2:3.

  Whatever this is all about, it's probably too little and too late for the WT...

  Early last year, my PO sent me a YouTube video of the Haitian president holding a WT publication (a few days after the earthquake)... the guy turned out to be a local activist (not the president)... anyway, I started reading the "apostate" comments below the video (which this elder failed to notice)... I really can't remember the comment I read which led me to look into 607-1914, 1975, etc..

  I eventually read COC, Gentile Times Reconsidered, In Search of, old WT books, etc... my eyes opened up wide and I never looked back...

  All thanks to the PO in my congo who didn't have time to "shepherd the flock" because he was too busy getting his Doctorate's Degree in Computer Science...

  I remember when there used to be a lot more leeway when presenting talks from the platform. Now there seems to be increased pressure from Brooklyn to simply stick to the script. It's becoming obvious that the GB is afraid of those few rogue elders who like to "ad lib" a little to stimulate thought (since this might result in "independent thinking")... And because they're losing their "best & brightest", they're also afraid that most the remaining elders are incapable of delivering "the message" without the benefit of a detailed outline in front of them... pretty soon they'll be eliminating talk "outlines" all together and ordering elders to simply read pre-written talks word-for-word...

  Slandered At the Circuit Assembly & My Letter To My Mother

  on saturday, my ex husband went on the platform at the one day circuit assembly and slandered me in front of 800+ people.. my jw family is even up in arms because he basically lied and ruined any last bits of my reputation that i had left, the worst part is this was elder sanctioned.. i am really exhausted from all the upheaval so i will get right to the point.

  the following is what i sent to my mother:.

  How incredibly repulsive of your ex-husband to use this in an assembly talk... even if it were true, personal family matters should not be aired in front of anyone, especially 800 people! At least you now know that the WT is definitely not directed by God...

  But please don't let this eat away at you... you'll be fine a lot sooner than you think... just hang in there.

  Not much... He's just waiting until GB member Geoffrey Jackson's* 102nd birthday comes around in 2057... then he'll finally push the big "A" button...

  *Note: Geoffrey's currently the youngest GB member, so he is presumably the last annointed person on earth who would be alive from the second overlapping generation of annointed ones just before the Big A starts... Also, 2057 marks the 100th year after the first signs in the heavens were witnessed (1st Sputnik launch).

  So we have until 2056 to start getting our act together and go back to the Truth...
