Analyn... I think you're confusing Obama with Osama...
...there was a recent thread here about a CO who said 9/11 was actually an attack on Jehovah's Witnesses...

It wasn't the young man that showed up with a stick and scared off the pit bull... it was the holy spirit inside the booklets (thrown at dog) that pacified him... oh, by the way... it was an angel that led the JWs to the (already mauled) woman...
give it 3 years... the WT will use this in an assembly boasting session to "remind" the rank and file that this is God's spirit-directed organization...
now is a good time to start making preparations for the memorial night demonstration at your kingdom hall thursday, april 5, 2012, after sundown.. close to 20 million people will attend this annual global witness event including active witnesses, relatives and friends of witnesses, bible studies, return visits and still attached former witnesses.
the evils of the watchtower org.have to be exposed and this is an ideal time to do it.. many around the world have been adversely affected by their association with jehovah's witnesses and you can be an instrumental force by standing tall and courageously exposing the watchtower organization.. there is no better way to let the watchtower know your revulsion than to broadcast and present your view by standing fearlessly, demonstrating in front of a kingdom hall.. i am fully aware that a handful of the internet therapists who post on this forum will not agree with this method of unmasking the watchtower.. those intolerant, contemptuous critics who will comment on this thread making harsh judgements and finding fault with those who protest are perhaps deep-down wishing they had the backbone to stop hiding in cyber-space, step away from their computer and "get out of the bleachers and into the game" .
lets make this a global event!......
Rick... What happens when you lie? ......... You lose credibility!
i hate doing this type of thread.
none of us are perfect, least of all myself, and i would rather focus any criticism on the watch tower society for damaging people's lives.
however, in the short period since i've been a member of this forum i've noticed one member in particular deteriorate in his behaviour into the type of individual who threatens to undermine the credibility of the entire website.
Red21... so you're saying that it's perfectly OK for anyone to lie on this board??? I'm just asking so I can understand where you're coming from...
By the way, I don't think you'll find one person here who is against FREEDOM OF SPEECH... what you might find are a few members who get aggravated when they read sensationalism or false statements... why don't you let those folks have FREEDOM OF SPEECH and stop defending the liars on this forum? again, I'm just asking...
noroomforgeorge must be drooling over this wt illustration.
the (1950s) woman of his dreams.... .
.
Yes… but at night, she'll are allowed to wear this while they vacuum in front of their non-believing husbands…
Just saying
.
98 years later, the 1914 date is still important to the watchtower organization.. .
below is a screenshot of a portion of page 19 from the may 15, 2012 watchtower magazine.. .
Recently, I accomplished something I thought I would never acheive... I was able to convince a hardcore JW elder that 607 is incorrect... but he quickly shrugged it off by saying: "yes, but remember... Jehovah's servants in the past were not necessarily educated people. so why would you expect them to be educated enough to get this chronology right?"... that was followed by my biggest "WTF???" moment of my life...
yes, the latest watchtower is upon us.
it opens with a typically outlandish article on marriage.
here are a few of the headlines:.
What's next? No intercourse for pioneer wives that fail to meet their monthly quota?
i've heard lots of stories over the years of the wonderful job the jw's do in assisting those in need in disaster zones whether they be earthquakes or floods.
it would always be reported that the witnesses were the most organised in setting up camps etc and would out do the red cross and other such organisitions.
but also that they would quickly set up mini congregations to keep the disaster struck brothers spiritually fed.. has anyone here been involved in disaster relief work with the witnesses to clarify:.
If there is little or no potential for media coverage in a particular area, any organized aid from the WT will go exclusively to JW families... where there's potential for a significant "photo op", you might see some of this aid going to non-JWs so they can use it in their assembly boasting sessions....
That being said, most JWs are compasionate people anyway (just like members of any other religion) so they will tend to help their good neighbors whenever they can. But there's always the pressure to help fellow JWs first...
However, saying that JWs are the most "organized" in providing aid and that they even "out-do" the Red Cross is a bit of a stretch. Who would say this other than the WT or the GB themselves?
Make sure you don't heat the miracle wheat in the microwave just before your organless transplant... it can severely affect the acceptable theocratic albumin-globulin ratio in your blood fractions.
the 2012 special talk is "is it later than you think?".
the outline can be found at this thread: http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/221623/1/anyone-have-the-outline-for-the-2012-special-talk.
at that above link, you can also see the october 8, 1968 awake cover that uses that exact same title.
I think the intent of this is to provoke apostates and then claim persecution or that the Great Tribulation has finally arrived...
this is what a lot of tired JWs really want to hear right now... it's all about "supply and demand"...
