  Stephen Lett will be present at our next assembly.

  a letter was read to the congregation last sunday.

  i wasn't paying much attention until i heard stephen lett will be delivering a talk.

  at first i thought it would be as a recorded video, as it was in the last assembly.

  @tim I remember that visit of the one they call tight pants tony. If I remember and I'm still looking for that thread. Is that someone mention here he was coming to San Diego. Tigh pants tony mentioned it during his talk that there was many apostates in San Diego. He dint say hi to the friends because he was afraid of an apostate attack. For lunch he just went to the Apartment they have at Escondido.

  I do remember when Lett came to the dedication. He only said to not put pictures on social media.

  Special Pioneer Sister-in-Law and Husband just got their letter.

  well, my sister-in-law and her husband, special pioneers for only a couple of years, just got their letter.. her comment was along the lines of, "they're having to do this because they forgave all those kingdom hall loans a few years ago and the brothers aren't donating anymore.".

  when my wife told me, i laughed so hard i farted.

  Assembly baptisms/attendance - keep 'em coming!

  don't forget to post your reported assembly and convention attendance and baptisms and whether they are higher or lower than customary (if you know).. here's some detail passed to me of the last circuit assembly held at surrey (uk) assembly hall.. attendance 922 baptisms 3 (half circuit).

  The one CA I attended was high also. Just over 1000 and 18 were baptize all under 18 except two.

  Yes it's true, if you are over 70years old you get to live there. They also will send CO that are over 70. The new halls won't have apartments anymore.

  hello, i am sam(samuel).

  i am 18 and i live in romania.

  my english is not that good and i find it hard to express myself even in my language xd.. i'm not an open person and i would've probaly never talked so open of my life but this "event" had so much impact on my life and it damaged me so deeply that i do now write this.. i came to this site to help myself fight the problem that destroyed my life for the past 2 years.

  grew up in east la in a bad neighborhood to a black mother and white father.

  i never knew my father because he died in a car accident when i was a few weeks old.

  my mother converted as a jw soon after when two sisters came to her door and offered her comfort, which was something she needed.

  Thanks for sharing your story. One thing I would suggest is to contact Irwin Zalkin about your abuse, abuser never tend to have only one abuser. So maybe there was a history there.   'Seek the Kingdom First' Economics

  has anyone else's family finances been victim to the 'seek the kingdom first' economic policy?.

  for years, my husband and i have had our own business, my husband is not the most proactive guy, prefers to go in field service than to work, but he has always encouraged me to 'rely on jehovah and all these other things will be added to you', 'seek the kingdom first' etc etc.

  there have been times, such as when i was heavily pregnant and we lost a big deal, that i have been begging jehovah on hands and knees to honour that promise, wondering why he wasn't helping us.

  "Seek kingdom first" if you want to be dirt poor. It's insane what the GB ask for the pioneers, specially when no one from the territory is getting baptized. Being a need greater is a waste of time, sorry LITS. Being a pioneer is a waste of time. There so much you can learn and do. JW don't have any ambition to create to invent. That damages people's thinking and are more easily brain washed.

  I just started to go to college four months ago. I have learned more in four months, then all my life as JW. Is clear for me the reason they don't want to you to get higher education.
