  Need Help From British Football Fans

  i have closely followed the premier league for the last 13 matchdays, and i am getting ready to pick a team that i will not only follow this year but for the foreseeable future.

  i am not interested in chelsea, manchester u., manchester city or arsenal.

  all four remind me of teams i loathe in american sports (cowboys, yankees, celtics).

  I saw a Man U fan fall into the river the other day, he couldn't get out, looked like he was gonna drown. Being a responsible person I alerted the rescue service. They haven't turned up yet. Hope I didn't wast a postage stamp!

  Anyone remember the stupidist of talks?

  i remember a talk being devoted to use of the correct grammatical pronunciation of words.

  in fact any elder or brother for that matter who didnt use the correct pronunciation was viewed as illiterate and dorky so the congregation snubbed them.... i remember the word machinations (of the devil) and the emphasis that it should be pronounced mack in nations.... another one was.

  behove was meant to be pronounced 'behoooved'.

  I remember a talk dealing with marital relationships? and part of the outline I guess required that the speaker had to discuss how taking the women from behind, and no it wasn't discussing anal, just from behind, was to impersonal. From the front, face to face, was more of a loving act. From the rear is reserved for animals according to that outline.

  Kinda on the subject of taking one from behind, we had a speaker, who during a talk which condemned homosexuality said, and I quote.

  "Anal sex is said to be very addictive, once you have tried it, it's very hard to stop"!!!!

  KS10 Chapter Five Discussion

  reiteration that the below is a discussion of chapter 5 from 'shepherding the flock of god' which is published by the wts of penn/ny.

  the wts is a non-profit that distributes it's publications free of charge worldwide.

  this particular publication while not for sale (well none of the wts publications are either technically) is not distributed broadly but is still nonetheless part of their bible educational work, while not required donations are joyful accepted by all jws for the purpose of this work....... here are the previous discussion threads:.

  39. If the accused denies the accusation, the
  investigating elders should try to arrange a meeting
  with him and the accuser together. (Note: If the accusation
  involves child sexual abuse and the victim
  is currently a minor, the elders should contact the
  branch office before arranging a meeting with the
  child and the alleged abuser.) lf the accuser or the accused
  is unwilling to meet with the elders or if the accused
  continues to deny the accusation of a single
  witness and the wrongdoing is not established, the
  elders will leave matters in Jehovah's hands .

  Even "worldly" courts know the dangers of an abused child having to face his abuser, this is why minors give video evidence? Many Elders are naive as to this policy (there have been lots of appointments in the last five years - younger elders) and I think that more than a few will be standing down after the school.

  KS10 Chapter Four Discussion

  4 of 'shepherding the flock of god' by the wts is part of their worldwide non profit bible educational work which is supported by voluntary donation but not required in order for a publication to be placed with 'rightly disposed' persons.. chapter 4 addresses "assisting those who are weak" and is required reading prior to the ks.. it is the hope of this thread to assist those preparing for ks as well and assisting the wts in educating those about the responsibilities and directions elders must adhere.. here are the previous discussion threads:.
