what makes you happy, proud, interesting, whatever you want to post, just share something good please!

We are making new friends. I'm tickled pink and it is really helping ease the family loss. I also started volunteering which I think is going to be really fun.

ive lived in arizona all my life and lately been thinking alot about moving to another state.
im thinking san diego right now and am currently saving to move hopefully this summer in june or july .
so have any of you ever moved somewhere brand new where u knew no one, no family or friends, i think it would be nice to have a fresh start and new environment i.
We moved to be closer to family. Now I wouldn't mind moving to be farther away from family. lol

we were about to have a great day baking only to discover we were out of baking soda.
the kids and i ran to the store and now the fun is about to begin.
love to spend the day baking.
Ah, your the best laverite. Spending a day baking with your kids is so sweet. I love to bake and sometimes when I had my neice over I would make something just so she could help. She'd be standing on a chair with a big spoon trying to stir everything. Then she'd go home and would start begging to help cook at her house.

i know of someone that has made no bones about being somewhat unhappily married.
they got married because they "fooled around" and felt it was the "right thing to do".. i wonder how many people are unhappily married?
?.
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!! We are one of the few I think that just hit it off and still get along great. There are a lot of married couples I know that this is NOT the case. I don't know why we were so lucky but hey, I won't complain.

1, 2. for you to be successful as you grow toward.
trail, you might want to take along a. map and a compass.
a reliable map and a compass.
Wow, paragraph 6 made me gag, especially because I know I could have read that without blinking just 4 years ago. I'd start ranting, but ziddina covered most of my initial reaction. Really, how do they print this stuff with a straight face?
Your peers may believe in evolution or in various false religious doctrines because others have told them that this is what they should believe.
Thankfully, unlike those other guys, as a JW you are blessed with poorly written "science" brochures that tell you what you should really believe. Please desist from researching the facts and making up your own mind.
Our heavenly Father wants you to build your faith on evidence.
You should, for example, have faith in a global flood. There's lots of evidence to believe in a global flood. That is, as long as your definition of "evidence" is a few ancient stories about floods. It helps if you ignore the enormous flaws that become evident when you try to take the story literally.
if so - without divulging any names , approximately how much was donated to the wt society ?
if you are aware of approximate amounts.
as many know the wt society yearly puts out calls in their publications for witnesses to donate trust funds, wills, inheritances, estates, jewelry, cars and whatever else they have to promote the aleged " kingdom interests " in furthering the " good news " around the world.. personally i feel it's all been a scam to continue exercising control over witnesses by influencing them to financially deprive themselves so the wt society can continue it's operations.
Lol. NLW and I had talked about what we would do with our stuff if we died. We don't have kids so donating our stuff to the WT Society seemed natural. Never had anything put into writing though as we are still young. THANK GOODNESS that will no longer be the case. In fact NLW added up what we had donated and I was really surprised. I had no idea. Then he added up what we would have given (if nothing had changed in our lives) for the next 40 years. HAHAHAHHAAA

i can't believe the amount of new posters this board is getting.
it seems as if every day there are at least 2 to 3.. if you are a new poster, what made you decide to stop lurking and start posting?
how many of us are there that have joined in the last year?.
NLW had read some stuff on here a couple of years ago when he started doubting the organization. I think he would pop on and off depending on whether he had something he was researching. I didn't know about this site and was too much of a good JW to ever consider looking at it. When I fell fast this past summer NLW told me about this place, so I started lurking then. It was terrifiying the first week being on here. Now, I really like it and it helps reinforce that I am making the right decision. I really don't have anything grand to ever add. NLW is pretty busy and knows most of his anti JW knowledge so I just pass him threads that I think might interest him.
NLW's wife.....who is still too scared to get her own account
so for those that care or are in a similar situation just wanted to give an update how things are on my end as far as fading 9 months in.. april of last year i found out the truth about the truth, took one night of googling and the walls came tumbling down.
then i read read crisis of conscience, combatting cult mind control, first part of in search of christian freedom and eventually captives of a concept.
my last ever "meeting" was the 3 day convention in july of last year i attended with my family, i posted about it and just how utterly frustrating it was.
Looks like life is going fairly well for you. Hope you get a girl by the end of the year.

hi, i've been lurking for a few days reading the site, interesting stuff ;).
i've been out of the org for 23 years, i was 27 i left an agnostic and became an atheist many years ago.
i knew i was going to leave for 7 years before i did but had stayed in because i didn't want to hurt my family, it hadn't occurred to me that they might shun me.
Welcome.
