  Yup and he was still an innocent man after the criminal trial. Declared so by a jury.

  Some juries refuse to met out any justice. Some juries take the law into their own hand.

  Either way there could only be reasonable doubt if there was another reasonable explanation.

  I would like to hear all the reasonable explanations of other ways she may have died. Might make great reading.

  By the way, the last jury, the civil jury ,declared him guilty of causing her death and levied the largest punishment they could. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

  In California if a jury finds two reasonable possibilities they must choose the one that proves the defendant not guilty. What many people, including some who work in the legal profession, do not understand is that there is no reasonable explanation that suggests that OJ did not do it. THEREFORE THERE IS NO REASONABLE DOUBT.
  The jury did not do their job and should probably be indicted for perjury. They proved false to the oath they took under threat of perjury

  The US and big Oil companies are a major reason there is only one democracy in the Middle East. As long as we keep gangsters and despots in power so we can buy their oil cheap, people in the Middle East will suffer. People who suffer sometimes will throw tea overboard. Sometimes they will blow up buildings.

  30 years from now when the oil is all gone and big corporations no longer care, who do you think will govern the Middle Eastern countries. It will be the same people politicians will then blame for the lack of oil.

  It will be the democracies that emerge from the ashes of American Imperialism.

  how is this.... i started working for a company in sydney while still a witness.

  i moved from a little country town to there so didnt know a soul.

  well the receptionist that worked with me was very loud and out going and used to swear quite a bit.. but i started picking up signals as you do when your a witness that this girl was also a witness.

  Letter to my family

  for several months now i have been writing back and forth to the service dept asking them to explain the difference between "those who simply leave the faith" and those who "went out" (disassociate).

  the reason i am curious about this is because "those who simply leave the faith" are not shunned, however those who "went out" (disassociated) are shunned.

  i have written twice and received two replies.

  I would like to say I agree with this quote. Those few of you who know me, know full well that I have taken action against child molesters and sexual predators whenever I have known about them. Both by helping victims and warning potential victims. Sexual abuse is bad and wrong.

  Unfortunately neglect causes enormously more damage, both current and lasting, than all the forms of abuse that I have ever heard of.

  It is honorable for some to focus on abuse and put all their energy into exposing it, preventing it, and punishing those responsible. Bill is doing a lot.

  It is also honorable for some to focus on the big picture and work to prevent the hundreds of kinds of neglect.

  By writing his books Ray has exposed an enormous amount of neglect, fostered and encouraged by the Watchtower Society

  I would like to say.

  in my current life i know a lot of people who live together.

  some of them might have done this because they do not like marriage, and others have done this as a step towards getting married.

  in all, in my post-witness life i find that i have no problem with either view.

  My wife is the one that married the stranger. But I'm not any stranger than most of you.

  I feel sorry for all the bunny rabbits out there who keep jumping form hole to hole.

  Only committed, go to, kind of people will know how great marriage can be after 25 years, the children are raised, 26 years, the cars are all paid for, 27 years, both doing jobs they enjoy, 28 years, vacations where you don't have to do anything so you just relax, 29 years being able to make love in any room in the house, 30 years, loving the way she cooks because its better than that crap you get in restrants, 31 years doing the dishes without being told, ( remember there are not to many just the 2 of you) 32 years, being able to make love 30 days in any month ( if you take your vitamins) 33 years......

  Life is as good as you are willing to let it be, it's up to you.

  i've been thinking a lot recently about the interaction between people in the exjw community and it seem to me that the "jw experience" (sounds like a theme park ride doesn't it?

  ) polarises behavior somewhat between two extremes:.

  we know in the jw scheme of things that friendships are very 'superficial'.

  We have to face the facts. A normal person would not spend a Sunday afternoon logging on to an exJW website and reading comments from people who have never learned that it is ok to love yourself so you can love your fellow man as you love yourself.

  In fact a normal person would be riding a bike with a bike club, watching a Baseball game at a ballpark or on TV. In the fall of the year a normal person would be deer hunting, or watching a Football game. Maby a normal person would be planting bulbs for spring flowers. Heck, a normal person may even be making homemake wine, if they could get the grapes.

  Simon, a normal person might spend a whole Saturday just watching his or her children play little league Soccer, or spend an entire sunday just making love to to the one you promised to make love to forever.

  Yup. Nobody logging on here is normal. But we can be. We just have to start by loving ourselves first....
