you will be pleased to learn that during april 2011, publishers who wish to serve as auxiliary pioneers may indicate on the application whether they will be working toward a 30-hour or 50-hour requirement for the month.
this is a special arrangement for the month of april 2011 only.

its not open to personalities as the mission statement in the watchtower states.... .
but if its a toss up between financial profits and principles then clearly principles need to be jettisoned if profits are to be maximised..... .

jw parents are put under enormous pressure if they want their kids to live.
if parents dont want their children killed they had better get their kids to spend 6 hours a day selling the watchtowers children book or else.

This is scary we are to put the GB in the same place as Jesus according to the Dec 15 WT
by life is to short ini do not know how to scan the wt if someone can it would be great but i wrote it out verbatim .
i think what the wt says speaks for its self.
am i missing something and or reading something into what they are saying.

Matthew 12:48-50 identifies who Jesus viewed as his "brothers" and it sure as hell was not just 8 senile old power-tripping goats in New York. He identified them as everyone who doesn the will of his father:
He replied to him, "Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?" Pointing to his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother and my
brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."
Great points Mary. They have totally changed the meaning of these scriptures to make their own point.

No Tape Recorders at Elder Schools? WTS Hanging Elders Out to Dry
by skeeter1 inelders are not allowed to bring tape recorders to elder school or elders-only type meetings.
elders can only take hand notes, usually inside the wide margins inside the elder's book.
i think the watch tower society is hanging the elders out to dry.. 1) being an elder is an important job, let's face it.

The elders do have a big responsibility and they should be aware of the pitfalls. It is their own responsibiity to find out where they stand.
I wonder how clear it is made to the elders that the org considers them to be independant agents. For an org that keeps going on about unity it is hard to see any consistancy.

Stumbled across a recurring theme in WT: teach 'the organization' to your kids
by sd-7 inyesterday afternoon, right before i was about to take my wife to the kingdom hall (no, i'm not attending, haven't been in 9 months, strangely enough am still thinking of returning if it would help my marriage, but it won't), i happened to notice her opened october 15th, 2010 watchtower.
around page 25 or so, there was an article that caught my eye.
it instructed parents to teach their children to 'not act independently of the organization, even in small matters'.

They're loosng a lot of young adults and need to focus on younger children to gain more control of them. With the internet readily available they know it is very easy for young ones to have access to plenty of information if they are curious or interested. If they can make them feel committed to the organization then they have more chance of them not looking for real answers elsewhere.

when 1925 came, how did the watchtower society start preparing their followers for the disappointment?
the february 15, 1925 watchtower contained a long study article entitled "the year of jubilee.

Restraining order against me from my JW Wife

i left jw two months ago and since then my life has almost been a lifetime movie.
long story short, my soon to be ex-wife believes i am full of the world, satan, etc etc.

EVIDENCE OF YOUNG PEOPLE :
This can be used to show that they are normal .
Identify and interview young people from local
congregations who have been raised as Jehovah's
Witnesses and, in the eyes of the presiding overseer, are
spiritually minded but also enjoy the normal healthy
things that young people do . They don't have to be
competitive to enjoy sports . Be careful that they don't
get the impression that they are in a demonstration at
the circuit assembly, when they would show that the
first things in life are service and going to the Kingdom
Hall . Show hobbies, crafts, social activity, sports, and
especially plans for the future . Be careful they don't all
say that they are going to be pioneers . Plans can be
trade, getting married and having children, journalism,
and all kinds of other things . Maybe you can show an
interest in art and the theater . They must be clean,
moral, honest, but with the interests that you would
expect from other young people .
If you are disfellowshipped I would be focusing on how they are viewed by JWs as this is what you're children will be taught.
