When I read the title of the thread I was thinking of this scenario.
Let's say 6,000 people were invited to the supper but the catch was that you could only sit and watch and only 11, specially chosen people could partake of the most glorious of celebrations. These 11 being the only ones at that time that had possibility of achieving presidency status.
Another possibility is that the plane was being tracked at some point in time and was shot down by a Government.

It would be more credible if they just came out and said they had no idea what Jesus meant when he said 'this generation'. They have made fools of themselves and they should be very worried as to why they even let themselves listen to whoever it was that originally came up with this concept. They have serious problems.

You would never see that story published in the Awake XYZ. The worst of this is that the organization has recently been telling followers to respect the elders and just accept anything they do.

For an organization that prides itself with being organized they could be numbering and allocating seats to everyone.

Since this seating is limited, only one or two persons directly assisting the elderly or infirm individual may sit with him."
It amazes me how unloving this organization can be. To deliberately discourage families from being together to enjoy the abundant spiritual food speak volumes.
today i heard from the owner of a small restaurant, the story of how a brother in a local congregation ripped him off for thousands.
the restaurant owner is not a jw but totally familiar with the cult, as his mother is a long-time baptized sister.
she asked him to hire this wonderful brother from her congregation to do construction work he needed at his house.
The warning bells should have rung when he had workers coming in and not paying for their meals.
