  he is strongly of the opinion that the tony toids remarks re: the tite pants is straight down the line:"" i have to say i agree with brother morris.

  i dont think there is any question that gays dominate the fashion world, as well as the entertainment media.

  E-Watchman spends his time defending leaders of the Watchtower Scoiety. He has no idea about the Societies inner workings are or any ofl the information they withhold and keep secret. Even in his attempted defence of the Society being associated with the UN he has no more information than anyone else (other than the Society) and does a bad job.

  this jc from 1984 features a brother and his wife, who were evidently about to be df'd for apostasy.

  but the brother knew his ttatt well.

  the elders really couldn't muster any half-way convincing arguments to refute the damning facts on 607 and 1914. even 1975 was touched on.

  WT Study Article Nov. 23, 2014--Adam understood "day" to be 24 hours

  interesting admission in today's wt: adam may have understood "day" (as in "in the day you eat from it, you will positively die") to be a literal 24-hour period.

  i don't think the wt has ever said this before; the usual emphasis is that jah meant it as a figurative day, a day from his standpoint which is 1,000 years (and the article does state that, later).. however, if adam understood god's warning to be carried out in a 24 hour period, and god did nothing to alleviate that, then who did the lying?

  actually, regardless of adam's understanding, the question still stands but moving toward an admission of the use of day in that context to be 24-hours only makes the question even more valid.

  The bible says that Adam was not deceived, bit according to the Watcchtower he was deceived because he thought he would be dying that day.

  Would Adam really have eaten from the fruit if he believed his wife was going to die that very day?

  looking at all the doctrinal teachings over the last five years, it's almost impossible for any person of conscience who originated such doctrine to do a complete u-turn and change it when the passage of time has proved beyond doubt that doctrine is no longer credible.. i say this with reference to the generation of 1914. they were so sure.

  masthead for decades that those who saw the events of 1914 would also see the great tribulation.. .

  No longer to use "house to house record" slips and "please follow up slips"!

  a letter has just been read out indicating that effective immediately, witnesses are no longer to use the s-8 slip known as the "house to house" record slip, as well as the s-43 "please follow up" slip (usually used for foreign language people).. the letter stated that this is because of the changes in privacy laws etc that are becoming common in the world today.. i will try and get a copy of the full letter and post it asap.. .

  it looks as if the gb are blundering around and really showing themselves up for the buffoons they are.

  all the stupidity about tight trousers is laughable and if the general public were to see these selfmportant cult leaders blabbing this stuff then the last shred of their credibility would be destroyed.........perhaps.. the wbt$ seem to have dug themselves into a deep pit of no escape with their lies, new light(tm), paedophile protection and all the other nauseating peripherals they have.. we also suspect that the wbt$ have their spies here because they are either predictable or get ideas form forums like this.. so!

  Brand the JW.org product more. They're a printing group after all, print the brand on mugs, pencils, pens, iphone and ipad covers, T-shirts, bathers, shirts, ties, scarfs, and anything else that can accommodate the label. Branding works.

  Get the JWs to build schools, retirement villages and nursing homes, then sell them and build some more.

  The teaching is that the Wild Beast of Rev 11:7 is the world organization of politics and that it is the same beast mentioned at Rev 13:1

  The crazy thing is that the prominent JWs were imprisoned by the American legal system, not by any worldly collaborating system.

According to Parkhurst’s Greek and English Lexicon to the New Testament (London, 1845, p. 2), the Greek word a ′ bys·sos, meaning “very or exceedingly deep” and often translated “abyss,” is sometimes used with reference to or in making a comparison to the sea because of the sea’s great, seemingly fathomless, depth. (Ro 10:6, 7; compare De 30:12, 13.) In the symbols of Revelation, “the wild beast that ascends out of the abyss” (Re 11:7) is said, at Revelation 13:1, to ascend out of “the sea.”

  i was thinking of doing a pop-in visit when they're doing their thing(what ever that might be).

  to just see what it is that lures and hooks people, like our son.

  i was worried there is some sort of subliminal messages in audio or video that start to brain-wash a person.

  If you ask the question that Navytown suggests they may eventually get around to the comment that 'It is God who judges what is in a person's heart so we cannot say", then you could make the comment that 'it isn't necessary to become a JW then?'

  I didn't realize that Blondie, I always assumed it was in regards to serious health problems or desperate situations where help was needed. That is how the JWs in my family have taken it as. The quote from the W 70 would suggest it is more than 'necessary family business' it would signify 'unavoidable family business'

  That was a really good phone call and I appreciate how Ex Jws Internation included the replies from the elder in writing as it was not all that audible.

  This comment was added on her video

  "I have to give this Elder at least some credit, even though he is using very tricky talk. He is trying to suggest that Morris' talk was just him going out on a limb and it was not the Faithful & Discreet Slave's direction. Unfortunately Morris forms part of the F&DS as a Governing Body member. This leads to a serious problem.
  
  Morris at the beginning of his speech said that his following comments and issues were supported by the organization. He said he would back them with WTBTS publications. These publications were supposedly provided by the faithful & discreet slave. If his comments are in fact not supported by WTBTS publications then the rest of the GB would no doubt excuse his speech as being his own thoughts. If they don't take any action then they are agreeing with Morris in that all his comments are supported by WTBTS publications and therefore the FDS, they would be agreeing with everything he said.
  If they don't agree with everything he says then they are basically calling Morris a liar because Morris said everything could be supported with WTBTS publications. What a predicament. This is really unbelievable because Morris didn't end his comments there. He said that if anyone and yes he said anyone had a problem with this then they could take it up with Jehovah. Well there you go, the rest of the Governing Body members would now have to take it up with Jehovah.
  So either what Morris said is law, as issued by the Faithful & Discreet Slave or Morris has gone out on a limb.
  This is an organization that thrives on Unity (of thought). If a GB member has put this to the test then they have to do something about it. That is, if they are taking their responsibility seriously. The whole organization is at risk of crumbling like the twin towers if the apparent unity at the top of the hierarchy is not there. Just like the aeroplanes that flew into the twin towers, an emergency ensued. That wasn't dealt with as best as it could, it is to be seen how well it is handled by the GB.
  
  In other words, if the governing body does not retract the comments and statements made by Morris at this talk then as a group acting as the faithful & discreet slave then they are fully supporting him regardless of how the Elder in this phone call tries to distance Morris' comments from the FDS. This is a wake up call for them."

  The bottom line is that they can't have individual GB members saying something that is not backed by the 'FDS' otherwise there is no integrity and no unity. Any sincere leader would recognize this and do something about it.
