Bill Covert, it's good to hear that your son is okay.
I don't see why you should be spending so much money in getting your story posted. These cases should all have been reported to the police.

a paragraph taken from this week's study of 'gods kingdom rules.
15 jehovah’s people remain loyal to the messianic kingdom not only by refusing military service but also by respectfully declining to join in nationalistic ceremonies.
especially since the outbreak of world war ii, a wave of nationalistic fervor has swept the globe.
It's only the Watchtower that decided saluting the flag or singing a national anthem was taking a vow of allegience. How is it even a vow? On top of this they then equate it as a form of worship or devotion. It is neither but because they say it is it becomes wrong. A JW is now under the impression that anyone saluting a flag is worshipping it and are judging that person as doing something wrong when they aren't.
birds of a feather flock together.
australian cardinal george pell: "they are false.
the whole idea of sexual abuse is abhorrent to me.".
When they say "child abuse is abhorrent to us", who exactly is this 'us'? It can't be their organisation because there are those within it who practice it.
the watchtower has held for many years that jesus died on a stake and held strongly to this teaching.
w 1951 3/15 the above agrees with the new world translation of the christian greek scriptures in its appendix, page 769, in saying that the instrument upon which jesus was nailed was a stake without a crossbeam, and not the religiously represented “cross”; and that the greek word used for that instrument in ancient time meant a “stake” and not the conventional religious cross.
they are no longer certain on this point.

Many view the cross as the most common symbol of Christianity. However, the Bible does not describe the instrument of Jesus’ death, so no one can know its shape with absolute certainty.

I loved this TTATT logo, I don't know where it comes from. It's better seen at the .58 mark.

according to victor yarofeyev, who publishes a blog for a radio station in moscow, echo of moscow, the total value of the jw properties in russia is 1.9 billion rubles.
which converts to $31,956,955 us.
almost 32 million dollars.. yarofeyev speculates that, if the supreme court refuses the org's appeal on july 17, some of the jw's properties may prove difficult for the russian government to seize.
If the prosecutor proves that the transactions were concluded in order to avoid enforcement of the judgment, and not for gratuitous gift, the State will be able to assign the property. "
so in my last post i talked about how i had told my younger siblings how i didn't plan to get baptized or ever be a witness.
i thought i could trust them but i guess i was wrong, they're just kids after all.
my oldest brother (who's 11) told on me today.
I guess he got mad because lately he's been wanting to get baptized and I told him he should wait a few years. The only reason I told him this was because I asked him why he wanted to do it and he couldn't come up with a reason. All he said was "Idk, I just want to get baptized" over and over. He's just like my sister, he does whatever he's told.
You're right to get mad and even madder if your parents let him. It's dead obvious he doesn't have the personal capacity to make this life altering decision. Tight pants Tony and others are to blame for this.
As to your parents wanting you to 'fake' your interest, you've really got to wonder where their mind is in all of this. Is it possible that one of your parents are just in it to keep the family harmonious?
isnt nice to see the governing body being so humble, meek and not seeking their own importance?.

Looking at the first photo in the OP, it doesn't look very dignified or discreet.
One of the Asian ladies is pictured arm in arm with Lett which I suppose, if they personally know each other would be a different matter. It's obviously fine with him to have it plastered on the internet But the thumbs up from this lady has got me laughing, he probably didn't see her do that but they're not doing a great job in making the r&f more respectful of their great leaders.
Poor Lett, he comes off as being so gullible and this photo highlights that.
His 40+ year old tie and pocket square is so cutesy.
watchtower october 2017, par 11, page 28 - "very soon the political powers of satan’s world will form a coalition that is bent on the destruction of god’s people.
's] have anything to fear?
not at all!........at that critical moment during the great tribulation, the angelic soldiers of jehovah of armies will come together to protect god’s people..."[j.w.
I hope not I`m looking forward to celebrating my birthday on Wednesday without any hassles of a Great Tribulation interferring with it.If you dont mind.

When we compare all these Scriptural references about the final attack on God’s people, it becomes evident that the name Gog of Magog refers, not to Satan, but to a coalition of nations. W 15
But who is referred to as “Gog and Magog” at Revelation 20:8? During the final test at the end of the 1,000 years, those who rebel against Jehovah will manifest the same murderous attitude as ‘Gog of Magog,’ those nations that attack God’s people at the end of the great tribulation. And the outcome for both groups will be exactly the same—everlasting death! (Rev. 19:20, 21; 20:9) It seems fitting, then, that all those rebels at the end of the Millennium be called “Gog and Magog.”W 2015
What's even weirder is that they are assuming that the first Gog of Magog is not Satan based on the idea that the second Gog of Magog not being Satan
We are told that at the end of the 1,000 years, Satan will be released from the abyss, and “he will go out to mislead those nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war.” (Rev. 20:8) But how can Satan mislead Gog if he himself is Gog? Therefore, “Gog” does not refer to Satan in either Ezekiel’s prophecy or the book of Revelation. W 2015
