  i noticed a recent post where it was suggested the store was taken over by hostile means!.

  the person who posted it pretended to have knowledge of why the store changed names but clearly was operating with an agenda!

  one filled with lies, misinformation and deceit!.

  If I turn the picture upside down, I can see the profile of a dog. His eye is towards the top and his nose is near the guys left hand. If it's just a fire then the bottom half of the fire is not normal.

  Memorial.. To go or not to go

  so, as some of you will know myself and my husband are in the process of fading.

  haven't been to a meeting since beginning of 2017. .

  we weren't planning on going to the memorial, but last week my mother broke down and said that we have to go to the memorial even if it's the only meeting i go to this year.

  A loving JW mother would be asking you to come because she's doing it with you in mind, not for herself. So if you decide not to go it would be nice if you could tell her that you'd like to spend the day with her doing whatever she'd like.

  Is porn really such a big problem in the wt?

  in the most recent circuit assembly there was a lot about porn and warning against porn.

  even warning against looking at swim wear adverts!

  so i was wondering, is porn really such an issue in the wt?.

  I would imagine that it's not a problem the organisation can sweep under the carpet (or hide under a pillow) since JW wives would be seeking help from the Elders to deal with the problem.

  Shepherdless - SBF: Mode in 2006 was a 45 to 49 yo woman. Mode in 2011 was a 50 to 54 yo woman. Mode in 2016 was a 55 to 59 yo woman.
  
  

  That looks like it is moving with the same bunch of females. For instance, a female aged 47 in 2006 is 52 in 2011 and 57 in 2016 and falling within those same age groups you mentioned.

  They say that they were partners with Minstry Ideaz but also the managers (of the shop). Partnerships require a lot of trust and many people have been screwed over by operating under a partnership.

  I might be wrong but when you look at the goods in the shop, they don't seem to be the same sort of things that are sold on the Ministry Ideaz' website. They look more upmarket and of good quality.

  Who knows, the current owners may have bypassed purchasing from Ministry Ideaz and this stuffed them around. Ministry Ideaz may have counted on making a profit from selling their own merchandise but the managers/partners had their own idea of what should be sold, possibly to make it more appealable to the general public. Something like that would easily cause a rift between partners who simply have a different idea about how the business should be run.

  One person in the partnership thinks that their ideas are better than the others and it's a battle as to who gets their way. Someone loses for one reason or another and they feel sour about it.

  If you have a partnership you have to make the contract watertight and even then there are many loopholes. Not only do you have to worry about and work at the business being a success, you've got other partners to appease as well.

  The Watchtower provided the documents on the condition that they were placed under a protective order, meaning that Zalkin could not discuss their contents or share them with law enforcement agencies, reporters or the public.

  That is so disturbing that they deliberately prevent a third and independent party from reporting cases to police.

  Columbia, SC and Arleta, CA members - I need your help

  my 18-year-old daughter in columbia, sc ran away to arleta, ca to move in with jw family.

  they are living together with the mother's permission in her house along with 10 other family members.

  she is surrounded by jws 24 hours a day, seven days a week.. is there anyone in the columbia area who would be willing to help me - maybe meet for a cup of coffee or facetime.

  There's a lot of this that doesn't make any sense, it's no wonder that there are a number of posters having a problem with this and coming to conclusions that you don't like. As I mentioned before, seek professional help, they'll be able to get to the bottom of all this and give you advise.

  Have you sent your daughters ID papers and SS documents to her yet? They are hers and she needs them. How do you expect her to finish school there if she can't ID herself? More importantly, you say she's got no one to turn to if she wants to get out of her situation. Other than it being highly likely that at least one out of the ten she is living with will help how can she get anywhere without her ID papers. Are you really wanting to help her or to hinder her?
