Thanks Adjustments.
They are playing to the minds of those that have heard talk about a one world government. To confuse the issues comes as no surprise by the WTBTS.
this new tract being released by the jws sounds an alarm!!!
the tract at first glance does not look religious at all!!!
it looks like political information, you have to almost search for the one scripture cited.

There are only 16 tracts listed on JW org and 'A World Government' isn't listed. Do you have a link to the tract you are talking about?
this new donation arrangement under the pretense that so many new halls are needed to accommodate the worldwide increase has me wondering.
the numbers in the current annual reports don't show anywhere near the increase as there was leading up to the 1975 debacle.
so how did the gb of the time handle a genuine need for more kingdom halls?.
The Old Hippie - What were the reasons given for the sale of the two local Kingdom Halls?
A Kingdom Hall was sold over in the Victoria, Australia just over a year ago. It was about 200 yards from a boat ramp and river and fetched a high amount. They were told they needed to sell because their Hall was not big enough and they could not fit in all the people attending the yearly memorial. The JWs who attended the hall now have to travel an extra 20 minutes each way to share another Kingdom Hall. Although there is no reason to delay buying land and building another hall they have not commenced anything yet.
the gb can kiss my ass.. i'm writing "0" on the little slip of paper they pass out.. hey here's a thought:.
you know that "widow's might" stuff they're always talking about?
well i'm pretty dang sure that the lady was giving from the heart not because she filled out some dumba$$ piece of paper pledging two small coins several months previous!.
Why would you take the $20,000 allocated to the other two children, or even the $10,000 from the sick child if you had $1,000,000 in your own bank account?
Besides, it is not a matter of the organization having set aside money to give to each congregation (child), it is the congregations (children) that give to the parent.
The parent (if he hadn't been wise enough to have health insurance) would more than likely sell some of his properties in order to meet the debt. The Stanley Theatre alone would be a good example. But as far as the org. goes, they aren't talking about lifesaving necessities, rather just desireable 'wants' as opposed to 'needs'.
in the last couple of years the org has gone money crazy, selling off over a billion dollars worth of property and now a new tithing program.
just wonder what every one thinks is the reason for all this now?.
I can't really see that they would want to put themselves in the position that they owe money to sexually abused victims, with no way to pay it.
i don't.
whatever the sticker says on the side of the window is the price i pay.
.
You will be even better off financially if you save up for the car before you buy it.

It is a good demonstration of how JWs cannot think outside the square. If an answer cannot be found in the publications they are not even interested in trying to work it out.
xjw protests & videos.
.. i am disturbed by some of the more aggressive apostates posting videos on youtube, like "a jw memorial to remember" where a drunk man goes to a memorial and downs the whole glass of wine as a sort of protest.
this video and others like it received positive comments from aawa members.

What did I miss? I watched the video from Tony Prime and I neither saw him drunk or drink a whole glass of wine. Is this claim true?
im sure that many have had an experience where we try and keep little kids "occupied" while on a boring trip, such as a car ride or plane flight.. we come up with "games" like..."lets see how many green cars we can count", or "lets try and see who can sit still for the longest time".
"the winner gets a prize!".
obviously, until they are wise enough to cotton on, all we are doing is keeping them occupied to prevent them asking things like "are we there yet?!".
you're right OnTheWayOut. They will provide figures of how many people are now visiting JW org and how this is evidence of their campaigns being soooo effective. JWs will think that they are now able to give people so much more information than the old method of leaving just one Awake and Watchtower magazine.

Great illustration, I hope you don't mind me using it too.
