jw.org for the past year or so seems to have exploded onto the scene and going foward, to be the new name and face of the old tired and exposed jehovahs wittnesses, bible students, etc... and to the wbats for good reason!!!.
the .org in jw.org is just as important as the jw in this age of internet and information.
if you were to type jw.org or even jw alone into a search engine or directly into your internet browser (most people will type in jw.org into the internet browser, and be taken directly to the website) the first site to come up is of course the intended site, jw.org, and the websites following the initial jw.org site are uneventful, a law firm, media player, etc.
Now that the Governing Body has approved the use of the internet the JW's are in a much better position to learn TTATT than ever before. We also know that looking at porn is so widespread amongst the JWs that the GB have instructed the elders to go lightly when dealing with most cases of pornwatchers. So there are already JWs that are at ease in using the internet outside the rules set down by the GB.
Without the internet and sites like this I think there would be more ex jw's than otherwise, returning to the religion.
BU2B -I just heard his talks tied in at the RC. He said that they feel Jesus presence in the GB room, and his leadings. He said when people complain to him about all the changes, he says he is just trying to keep up with the chariot too. He said to hang on because it aint stopping. Afterwards, everyone was gushing about how "down to earth" he is and how they really love him, and what a great speaker he is. The GB is ndcoming a cult of personality. the JWs adore these men.
As a christian he should feel Jesus' presence everywhere, not just limited to the GB room. It's pretty bad when you have a GB member actually state that there will be plenty of changes in the future but it is evidence that he does not believe they have the truth now.
The GB have asigned themselves a job to do, that is 'feeding' their domestics. This does not have to include making personal presentations in their video's or give public talks before thousands of followers. They are attracting this worship towards themselves and are a real stumbling block.
while looking at the article one thousand kingdom halls and counting on jw.org, it immediately made me think: ahhh, this is where a large portion of the funds for the construction projects must go.
clearly, the philippinos are all poor and they need the financial support of richer countries.

both walgreens and longs have stores in hawaii kai about four miles away.. duane shimogawa covers energy, real estate and economic development for pacific business news.
I wonder how many JWs know the extent of these sales. This is another area shere the organization is very secretive, there should be no reason why they don't publish this information of their website, there must be good reasons as to why they don't do this, knowing that they are doing something underhanded may be just one of the reasons.
If this is true then why are all the GB members comfortably situated at Headquarters rather than some of them travelling from one congregation to another and writing personal letters to individual congregations?
after years of hard work and study, former bethel boy snare & racket is now officially a medical doctor.. his story is an inspiration that there can be life after the watchtower.
he has given me permission to post his graduation picture.. .
They want the r & f to spend their time and effort for them exclusively. It is a publishing and construction business and all work that they encourage centers around this.
We may see a change in the future as Countries are reviewing their classifaction of a charity to include only those who are demonstratably helping those in need.
there's been a buzz on this forum - on and off but currently on - that there has not been an article in any watchtower publication on the blood ban for a while - which feeds speculation that the organization is distancing itself from this doctrinal absurdity.
does that mean there's been nothing mentioned about the blood doctrine for months or years?
specifically, when did the watchtower last mention the blood ban?
They used to cite the blood ban as being a distinguishing feature of them as being the true religion.
Watchtower 78 4/15
From that time forward, true religion included respect for blood, which God himself said was to represent life that came from and belonged to Him...
Has this distinguishing feature of true religion since been abandoned? Though most churches disregard or do not teach what the Bible says in this connection, it is still a identifying mark of genuine Christianity
However not one mention of it was made in the recent Awake 07/14 mag under the title 'Can true religion be identified?"
The Video was first uploaded on Youtube in January, 2014. It is interesting that this is different to the other party video's we have seen. This was a show put on by South African Bethelites for visitors.
Visits to Bethel HQ may actually turn into a mini theme park, they are certainly heading that way.
