There's no need to take it so personally (and who said guys weren't sensitive?) She just wants to feel useful and by giving you some advice she feels needed.

Disfellowed on 7/16/14 for sending a letter to my former congregation
by spbondgirl007 init's been quite a while since i lasted posted anything on jwn.
i was in hiding previously, but only because i wanted to avoid the shun gun until i had the opportunity to tell my former congregation what i think about the org./gb.
i last attended a meeting over 2.5 years ago but it wasn't until june--when i earned my bachelor's degree--that i finally had the time to collect my thoughts and get them down on paper...i decided to write my letter in a style i felt would be most appealing to my target audience--jw's still under gb mind control --in the hope that at least a few would read it and actually "think".

Thanks for sharing those responses Spbondgirl. Once again they show just what robotic drones they are, not one genuine thought was messaged to you.
if you choose to disfellowship me, I know this is the real reason why (my refusal to obey the GB as ruler rather than God), for I spoke the whole truth and nothing but the truth in my letter.
The elders are showing this to be the truth more and more these days due to the higher number of JC cases regarding 'apostasy'. We'll see the GB continue to get tougher and tougher as the number of these cases rise.

This says a lot as to what he thinks headship or leadership is really about. It's about 'competition'. The Elder or Governing Body member is equiped mentally, physically, emotionaly and someatically to pit his mind against his fellowman and to be in competition with him,

Congratulations SpBondGirl007 for earning your Bachelor Degree. Thank you for sharing your letter with us. You are a very good writer and engaging.
Have you had any positive responses from those you sent the letter to?
These types of letters must play on the minds of Elder's, particularly the ones that have to make the decision to disfellowship a person. This may not be an immediate reaction but it is probably something that they benefit from over time. There is no harm in examining things and you have clearly emphasized that this is, in fact, a biblical requirement. If only these Elders stop every now and then and think about what they are being taught and whether it is based solidly on the bible then you have done your job.

Trademark office rejects Watchtower's application for "JW.Org" logo
by AndDontCallMeShirley inhttp://tsdr.uspto.gov/#casenumber=85896124&casetype=serial_no&searchtype=statussearch.
even though watchtower's application has been rejected, they will be allowed to use the logo because it is for religious usage and will not be confused with commercial products.. the trademark office did note this:.
indeed, numerous other marks are registered reflecting the letters j and w:.

From this information it would seem possible for someone else to change the logo slightly and establish a use for it commercially for it to be approved.

"You are good people"
by ateograciasadios inthis story goes back 2 years, when my girlfriend and i traveled to my homecountry in south america to spend the summer visiting my family and friends.
although i was still attending the meetings back then, i had already been inactive for a while.
the developments since that visit have been slow but dramatic, and my perception of the people inside the organization has changed greatly.

Perfect Relationship, He Still Broke Up With Me
by tiff21390 inlast month, my best friend of four years and boyfriend of six months came home from a jehovah's witness convention.
he'd been acting strangely the entire weekend and i knew something was wrong.
i initiated a discussion and he said, "essentially our relationship is wrong and i'm not supposed to be with you.

Welcome 21390 and sorry to hear your story.
You can't have had a perfect relationship if he was living a lie.
It's possible that the person you know now is the person he always was. I doubt whether your partner has changed at all, it's just that you didn't see it.
Now that he wants to do the 'moral' thing has he already spoken to the elders and confessed? This should also help you to see what sort of person he is. If he believes it is the religion for him and wants to do the right thing then he will have confessed. This may mean he will be disfellowshipped and shunned by his family and friends for up to a year, it will be a horrendous time for him.
I think you are doing the best thing at the moment and that is to cut off all contact with him. This will give him time to decide how much you mean to him and how difficult it is to be without both a friend and a lover.
There is nothing at all that stops him from marrying you other than himself and his wishes. Although the JWs discourage this and talk about being 'unevenly yoked' if he were to marry you then there is nothing they would do about it. This makes me think that there are more issues here than he wishes to discuss and my first instinct is to say just give him up. However, time will tell.
