Need help on Resurrection

i hope all is well.

recently my uncle ( my mom's brother ) passed away, he was never a jw but evangelical christian all of his life, never accepting my moms teaching.

so my mom in facebook keeps on making references to other family members when her brother comes back in the resurrection and live in the paradise ...i thought that worldly people who is not jw will not going to be resurrected .... what is the current teaching on resurrection for nonjws?...

"No it does not because being resurrected gives you the chance to become perfect in a perfect paradise. The resurrected gradually become perfect."

This is what they teach but how would it even be possible for God, who is perfect in everything, to even resurrect someone to an imperfect state? So prior to death that person had a leg missing or had a mental illness (and we all suffer from mental illnesses to one degree or another as we are imperfect), God will resurrect persons to their imperfect state only for them to 'heal' or grow to perfection from then onwards.

His parents were introduced to the religion in 1989, about the time he was born. His father played AFL football and is a JW. It reports that Lance and his wife are JWs. His parents are supportive of him.

My hubby, who follows AFL footy, suggested that since his contract was up for renewal it would have been a good tactic to up his price by suggesting that he might give up football.

book presented a large amount of new light or clarified understanding of the events of the great tribulation.. here i am presenting it in chronological order -- this is the governing body's updated chronological order of events for the time right before the great tribulation through armageddon:.

the final sealing of the anointed occurs just prior to the outbreak of the tribulation.

Thanks for the quotes but I can't see where they believe that they will know that this final sealing has taken place (before the GT begins). From what is said in the quotes, they would only know because they have witnessed the destruction of Babylon the Great which they say occurs after the GT begins.

I am very curious about this because if they are saying that they will know that the final sealing has taken place then they will also know that the GT is imminent and if they are teaching this then they are telling the flock that they will have foreknowledge. This foreknowledge will be unprovable. The flock will just have to take their word for it because there will be no physical evidence.

Bethel Meeting at Regional Convention

i decided to go to the bethel recruiting meeting yesterday to test out my theory that the organization is in decline.

i assumed that if there is a general feeling of apathy by many in the org, then certainly it would be shown up by the lack of enthusiasm or zeal by many to sign up for bethel service.

well let me say that based on what i observed, this organization is not going anywhere.

please tell me what do you understand from this quote that is taken from w july 2015, the article your deliverance is close paragraph 5.. i understand that not all members of other religions will be destroyed at armageddon.

i talked to a jw.

he says he understands differently: they will not be destroyed when the babylon the great will be destroyed but they will be destroyed in armageddon.

That's one good reason (excuse) for cutting down on printing.

They'll be preaching that the preaching work has stopped and not see the irony in it.
