I've seen what otter destruction occurs and have experienced death and seen dead bodies around me , so I'll be more prepared for Armageddon than many Witnesses
what happened to the poor otters? Jesus can't they leave the little critters alone? So, he worked in a Tyson chicken processing plant? Will Armageddon smell that bad?

monkeytailor (munk-ee-tay-lor)
:An old profession specializing in the making of clothes for monkeys, especially chimps, with their big, red. protruding buttocks. Demand has increased as chimps are used more and more in entertainment and commercials. They go through a lot of garments because of constant anal leakage and lack of bladder control.

The significance of Sparlock
by botchtowersociety inthe watchtower has depicted sparlock as a commercial plastic toy to be thrown into the garbage with impunity.. i submit to you all that he is something far greater.
sparlock represents all the hopes and dreams of jw children everywhere.
he is the magic of childhood.

I believe that the simple point of the entire Sparlock subject, which is an important one, is that the WT has jumped into the fray of modern culture at a time when the WT itself is losing credibilty.
No flag salute or military service in the late '30's and into the '40's was a bold move that caused terrific hardship on the faithful JW's. It also cemented the resolve of those who suffered.
But to take on the popular, commercialized world of toys, games and entertainment in this day and age is just stupid. Which I find very encourageing as an XJW

What'd I miss?
by fade_away ini turned my back on this site for one day and when i come back everyone is saying sparlock this and sparlock that.
what is a sparlock?
i can tell it's a wizard character but is it a toy or a cartoon that the wt is bashing?

Paley's in Portland, OR. The guy is a genius with food. Google him, Vitaly Paley. I worked with him on kitchen design to open his restaurant in 1995 he has won awards up the kazoo. Nice guy, too.

Did anyone find the movie The Grey slightly offensive?
by Chemical Emotions inits portrayal of grey wolves was horribly inaccurate.
it will probably lead to an even more negative attitude toward wolves, which puts them in more danger.
i believe i read that the creators bought dead wolves while producing the movie.. its main characters' philosophizing was pretentious, cliched, and insulting to my intelligence.

steve2, I agree that Liam has been type cast. The same thing with Harrison Ford. He has an intense anger scene in every picture he's been in for the last twenty years. He phones it in. Hell, I can flare my nostrils and look pissed off as good as him. I would do it for onlt $1 million too. Save them a lot of money.
between the two I think Neeson has more range and is more interesting to watch.
Too many movies today rely on CG effects and neglect telling a good tale with good acting.

Who or what are you most angry at, when it comes to your situation in relation to JW Org?
by BreathoftheIndianNose ini've been receiving very bitter messages from jws i know, mostly my mother, but also others that know how to contact me electronically.
sometimes i find myself mad at her, though not displaying it.
but i know it's really not her or my fathers fault.

Diamond Diz and Dill. Lost lamb. Both comments are valid and show a healthy attitude about the whole experience. You will survive. Praise the Lord!*
