  From laundry mat to laundry mat

  about three years ago, i was walking past a local laundry mat and i noticed some of the society s publications laying on the chairs by the window.

  so i walked inside and found an awake from 1995 and a watchtower from 1989. the latter one was funny to me because i was still in the organization when it was released.

  i couldnt help but be shocked at how old these magazines were.

  Littering a laundry or similar dumping spot made them feel like they were "witnessing".

  This is alarming! Beer contains female hormones! Yes, that's right, FEMALE hormones! Last month, Montreal University and scientists released the results of a recent analysis that revealed the presence of female hormones in beer. Men should take a concerned look at their beer consumption. The theory is that beer contains female hormones (hops contain Phytoestrogens) and that by drinking enough beer, men turn into women. To test the theory, 100 men each drank 8 schooners of beer within a one (1) hour period. It was then observed that 100% of the test subjects, yes, 100% of all these men: 1) Argued over nothing. 2) Refused to apologize when obviously wrong. 3) Gained weight. 4) Talked excessively without making sense. 5) Became overly emotional 6) Couldn't drive. 7) Failed to think rationally, and 8) Had to sit down while urinating. No further testing was considered necessary! Send this to the men you know to warn them about drinking too much beer!

  take the time to read it if you can and just sit and think about it for a second, think about all of the hate and disgust jw's have for the cc and just let that truth settle in.. amazing really.

  Shun Run 2013

  i am the organizer of the chandler, az ex-jw meetup group.

  last year our group organized a "shun run".

  nine of us walked and ran to bring attention to the issue of shunning.

  in the last 4 months my eyes have been opened to ttatt, my biggest issue is that the elders have been grooming me to appoint me as an elder.

  Irondork - Forgive my ignorance. What would be the problem with stating simply, "I'm not interested in being an elder." If they press the issue, follow up with, "Please respect my decision."

  the top cardinal of britian has resigned, cardinal keith o'brien, the archbishop of edinburgh, has given notice amid accusations by three priests that he made 'inappropriate contact' with them.

  he will not be able to vote in the upcoming selection of the new pope.

  the current pope has accepted his resignation.. like cardinal mahoney of the los angeles archdiocese, cardinal o'brien will be allowed to 'retire' receiving a nice pension and home paid for by hard working catholics.

  HOW TO STOP MY GRANDMA FROM GOING OUT IN FIELD SERVICE TOMORROW? ANY IDEAS?

  okay so i have plans tomorrow and i need to be somewhere by 11:30 (meeting someone ;) ) and my grandma said she would take me but field service starts at 9 and we all know that no one gets home from field service until like 12 or 1 in the afternoon.

  any suggestions on how to stop her?

  is there anything i could hide from her that no witness would go out in service without?
