  man richard dawkins is a breath of fresh air to me.relgion is a plaque onto the world and needs to be seriously destroyed.we need more like minded people like richard dawkins.religion is primative and man made.

  Struggling

  i have been df-ed for almost 9 years.

  just out of curiosity, has anyone decided to find another religion or belief after being jw?

  i struggle with my feelings, my mom and brother, aunt, cousins are all jw.

  HELP! How do I FADE without being DF'D??

  i'm in a tough position.

  i gave my last talk as an ms a couple of weeks ago, and i haven't been out in field service in well over a month.

  i "came out" to the closest people in my life...namely my gf and mother...i was also recently asked to step down from being a servant - largely because my heart was no longer in it and i couldn't stomach going from door to door peddling magazines and other literature full of lies and logical fallacies.

  How active are you?

  they say that as a society, we are all getting fatter and fatter.

  so i ask, how active are you?

  if you took a snap shot of the last five days, can you find moments of exercise or doing something besides sitting in front of the computer, lifting a remote or fork, or perhaps walking to get the mail?

  I am mad as hell at these people. I could done so much with my life but tet again I am only 20 yrs old and I feel so old. I never reallt dated anybody or went to my high school prom.I also never got to really got join any clubs in school. I was any angry teenager because I felt that nobody understands me and I still feel misunderstood. I have all this suppressed anger I need to get it out. Maybe I should try boxing.Any advice would help

  College surely is a headache for them.Because it encourges critcal thinking and observing.If every Jw had critcal thinking skills.The whole damn religion would crumble, and the governing body would look in horror as their control over the followers would be lost.

  i've seen a few threads/posts where some of y'all have heard from jw contacts and how they've stepped up their 'the end is close' rhetoric because of the earthquake/tsunami in japan.

  i usually take those things with a grain of salt.

  there's always some jw whose cheese has slipped that reads prophecy into every little thing that happens.

  The witness in my area, seem to be getting really worked up over all the unrest in the Middle East and the Japan Nuclear crisis.Also they seem to enjoy the daily updates of new revolts in Syria and Libya and Ivory Coast.

  I did not go. My last memorial was in 2008.I have not been to a KH in 3 yrs and it feels good.Plus do you ever notice at the Memorial their very litle mention of Jesus. It is mostly the Governing Body.
