  those of you who are/were jw's, do you remember how the beginning sign of the great tribulation was the declaration of "peace and security" right before the sudden destruction of the nations?

  the jw's applied 1 thessalonians 5 to their own impending salvation from this evil world.. so with bated breath, jw's have been watching for this sign -- this declaration, to come from somewhere, anywhere!!

  could it be the united nations, or perhaps the world's superpowers??

  Lazarus was raised from the dead, but died again later. Raising from the dead is not the same as resurrection. Even in the Old Testament, we have instances of a raising from the dead performed by Elijah. Jesus was resurrected. He didn't live on the earth only to die later. He lives forever.

  i just read the thread started by obves...and have often heard people talking about dates and time frames..... my question is....where in the hell do these people come up with these numbers?????

  how do you come about making predictions and/or claims about how much time 70 weeks actually equals in bible terms???

  could someone please explain this to me, because it's starting to piss me off, the way people are just throwing around numbers and dates and if they are hardcore fact.. thanx.

  1914 written backwards is 4191. Could that really be the true date of Jesus' second invisible presence? Armageddon may be postponed for awhile. Sorry about that!
