ok......it has taken me lots of soul searching to put this post up (it contains some facts i dont really feel all that comfortable putting up).
but i will try and leave out here for as long as i can.. it is an email i have sent to my dad.
it is a followup - he has some of the info on the un already.
Hi again, Msil.
I can understand your feelings - about the whole issue - and about what happened to Scruffy. I had some dogs myself in my life - so I can understand. The big difference, of course, was that I wasn't in your situation.
We should really do the same to the assholes responsible as they did to you and Scruffy. Not physically - but we should make them real famous.
Take care my friend, and don't rush anything. Take your time, and be assured you can call me any time. It helps getting something off your chest, doesn't it?
Maybe we can meet sometime. It would be a plessure!

Dear MSIL;
This was a huge step to take, and I really appreciate the fact that you chose to share this with us all.
I can understand why you feel uncomfortable about this issue, and - I would think - rather "bitter" as well. Don't misunderstand me - I don't use the word "bitter" as any critics here - you have all the reasons in the world to be.
On the other hand I can tell you this, from both personal and others experiences. When you start telling about your experiences, you sort of get them off your chest. You sort of easen the pressure in the pressure cooker inside, and that really helps as well.
I don't want to push you in any way, or even ask you to do so. But maybe you should consider telling the whole story about what happened? I'm pretty sure of a few things.
First, it would be a great comfort for the many others in their situation. To know there are others with the same feelings about things.
Secondly, it will do you good to let go, and let the shit out. If you keep it inside it's like the pressure cooker - that is building unneccesary pressure at odd times.
Just think of the day you will be able to laugh at it all! Not because it's anything to laugh at as such - but because you have done with it - you're finished with it. Once and for all.
Take care my friend, and have an extra beer for me! I surly hope we can have quite a few together some time!
Untill next time,
Your friend

Well, if the JWs had the control of a state - what would THEY have done?
What would ALL PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD have done, living in that state, a few years back?
Scary thought, eh?
But, what the heck. It's called "Freedom Of Religion"!!!

many of their policies are crooked and underhanded.

Hi GermanJW
Most of these German Addresses doesn't seem to work, even though some USED to work. The [email protected] is working, however. I don't remember what of the others bounced, but many.
As for the spiessburger website itself, that has to be a joke, yes :))) The Watchtower would NEVER allowed that site online.
Check it out: http://www.spiessburger.purespace.de/
I know that's satire, but I also know Detlef Garbe do have a wtbts address. I had another one earlier, and that one actually worked. However, I can't find it back.
The addresses I listed here are the ones I did find on internet search, and i GUESS - IF OTHERS ADD TO THE LIST, AS pRISCA DID, we will soon have quite a few addresses.
HOWEVER
Seeker is dead right. Don't SPAM these addresses. If we're sending anything to these people, it should be serious business. Real questions, and something which is important.
Some of these will have problems changing their address, since it's listed so many places - but it's extremely easy to add filters!

if you were to check out www.charity-commission.gov.uk.
you would find if you typed in ibsa the following registration number would show: 216647. as far as we know, for we are now awaiting a response, it is illegal all over the country for charities to solicit from door to door unless they have a full identity card, something which the wtbts has flouted law on for many years.. in view of current events, surely they must be able to see the wisdom of such an approach.
i mean its not exactly unreasonable when you really think about it, what the state is asking them to do.
Hi Sunbeam
According to Brittish law, would there be a possibility to check out what reasons the Watchtower has listed for being a "Charitable" gang?
I do suspect the rules you mentioned will be pretty much the same in most European countries - and we should really try to find out what reasons they have given.
Then we could supply evidence to the authorities as to what's the real world, according to the Watchtowers own writings and rules. We have to start somewhere!

So all of us concerned about the environmental situation and suspecting factories of chemical waste dumping etc., and trying to do something about it at times, should move to Afghanistan and join Bin Laden, and are in fact terrorists?
I didn't say that, and I know many people concerned about environmental questions that doesn't feel they can violate any law they don't like at the moment.
I do not mean every law is perfect, Hippie - you know that. And, as everyone else, I violate laws myself. What I try to say is that this is really dangerous - especcially when put into system by organizations with mixed agendas!
If anyone can violate the laws, and it's ok, who shall decide what laws we can violate?
Is it OK to cause losses for millions of dollars for a shipping company by blocking a ship carrying cargo we don't like - when what they do is actually legal?
Is it OK to fly planes into buildings because we don't like the fact our own family or friends has been treated much the same way, and we honestly believe that is the only way to make the world listen?
And please, let's not make war over this. I know these two "can't be compared" - yet I do. Because what is or should be allowed, according to your thinking (and many politicans as well), is somewhere in the middle.
What I'm saying is that Anarchy can be dangerous! People might get killed. I do not support terrorist actions, neither by one group or the other. And environmental terrorists aren't any better. Being a Norwegian I'm sure you remember the "Environmentalists" who released lots of animals in Nissedal a few months back. Animals that doesn't belomg in the nature here - and they didn't like the fact they were trapped.
So, they did feel it was OK to let them loose in the wild. What about the people spraying red paint on ladies fur coats? I agree, the animals had been killed just to make these expensive coats - but is it OK to spray Mrs. Johnsons coat with paint just because you don't like the fur business?
IF that's OK, where should we draw the line, Hippie? I don't neccesarilly disagree with all you are saying - I just point to some damned real dangers with that line of thinking. And supporting some of the people you mentioned isn't much different from supporting Bin Laden. These people put other peoples lives at risc! They lie, cheat, do what ever to promote their "cause" - no matter if it's just, true or decent.
I just tell you to think a bit on the other side of the medal. I happen to have a high degree of respect for the work done by Bellona, as one example. Yes, they have done illigal stuff as well, refused to leave - and the Police had to carry them away. But they are no fanatics, and they normally do have solid scientific evidence to back up their statements - not only bulshit. So, I do respect them a whole lot - I even wrote a positive article on them a few years back - visited the HQ in Oslo.
So, it's not a "sick joke" - it's a warning against all forms of fanatism and fundamentalism. For the ones getting hurt, they really don't give a damn what's the reason. They worry because they are getting hurt. If it's Greenpeace or Bin Laden doesn't matter, really.
