I was wondering if you have ever received any letters like this for your site from the WTS and if so what was you response to them if any?
You bet your ass I have. The Witchpower Libel and Crackpot Society filed a complaint to the police against me, demanded the Pay Attention book away from the net. As everyone but the JWs know, the Norwegian Police dropped the case, and I have sent lots of emails to the Senile Body, ridiculing them for their insane attempts of sensorship.
This case was all over the web a few years back. JanH and myself didn't do anything wrong, since we had only posted the parts proving the JW leaders were lying on Norwegian TV.
However, the stupid assholes in the Watchtower Legal did not file a complaint against the website that actually carried the complete book - while filing complaints against JanH for LINKING to those files.
So - we could prove the Witchpower Litter and Babble Society were just out to harass us - and I could prove they had sent thousands of complaints to my ISP.
The assholes lost - and after that - they leave me allone. Of course - they're welcome to try it once more - but I don't think they will. They know I get the news from Brooklyn about as fast as the different Branch Offices, so it's no use - really :)))
BTW. Their "secret" shit can naturally be read at the Observer.

simon, rw, jan, norm, af, farkel & anyone else this is a cry for help.... i really need help recovering data were the directory is lost.. i have a hard drive that i pulled off of a machine that crashed.
i have slaved it to a machine running xp in order to recover data files.
when looking at the hd properties for this drive it shows that 9 gigs out of 20 are used yet will not show a directory of files on the drive.
NTFS is real tough, and the data recovery people will be the ones that can get the datas out. As Simon said, there is a good risc you may ruin data by attempting to recover them.
Norton Utilities has a prog to recover such files - and you can save the recovered files to another drive.
If you try something that do over-write the data - you can possibly STILL get them out - but we're talking serious cash for the job!
In Norway we do have a company that actually recovered 80% of the data deleted by Military Strength Deletion from one of their US rivals (!!!!) - so much is possible. It's just a question of money....

Well, I don't know. I don't have all the sympathy in the world for cold blooded murderers, and if the guy IS guilty - evidently so - I don't mind what they do to him.
What you COULD plea for, is to get Bush replaced with someone with an IQ higher than 42 (Plat-Foot Moron). It wouldn't hurt to make Blair a bit more humble either :)

on january 24, 2002 the interim head of the department of public information responded to my letter requesting disclosure of the watchtower file.
even though dpi still refuses to give me the file, they did present some more facts on criteria for association.
also dpi provides what their dpi committee alerted the wts too in the committee's 1992 letter of accreditation to the wts.. there was a delay in posting due to the fact that the dpi sent a wrong brochure to me that accompanied the letter.
From time to time there is interesting news posted here and elsewhere. Maybe we should try to send the "good news" to JWs all over the world?
Does anyone have a good list of emails to Jehovah's Witnesses? I believe it would be extremely interesting to set up a list where we could send news, interesting developments, etc. But the general idea would have to be to send these newsitems to Jehovah's Witnesses.
Of course we know they are paranoid, and we know they will scream, complain, threaten - the works. But so what?
