a while back i mentioned my upcoming book, captives of a concept.
(gary busselman had a very nice comment about it.
) it should be coming out next month.
Corvin,
Agree with that...
Folks like me who were born and raised in the organization never stood a chance tho.
And Englishman fibbed - its actually EVERY time Portsmouth play (loose use of the word play..)
And at half time on Wednesday, 0-3 down to the Spurs, Simons prayer worked..
no one remembered...... so, i'm off to margaritaville.
my favorite place..... .
hopefully tomorrow, i won't remember this day.. oh, happy thanksgiving everyone.
Happy Birthday Tatiana...
We have something in common:-)
Ken
grudgingly counting out £50 in 1p pieces....
Didn't realise Pompei (thx Gadget) were .15% of the population, more like .00375:-)
No sour grapes of course....
But 2 in 3 don't...
There may be a 100,000 protestors tomorrow (let them try that in Iraq, Saudi, UAE, Iran, etc etc) but thats only 0.15% of the UK population. Those that support (may be strong, or don't disagree perhaps) unfortunately have a day job and can't take the time off from signing on or missing the lecture....
(Here comes the arrows....)
broadband has just been made available in my area and i want to sign up for it(dial-up is driving me mad....), but i don't know which broadband isp is the best one to use.
i can get a good deal with aol, but i've been warned against using them.
i would have used freeserve, but i've got a dial up connection with them now and its real real bad.
I'm on BT Broadband.
Got 2 PC's networked in the house, on all the time, good speeds, and no issues. Don't know how I survived before!
Also retained my previous BT Openworld e-mail addresses (all 5 of them) for a £1.50 flat monthly fee. Probably ripped off but too much hassle to change addresses as my main one is about 7/8 years old!
Ken
we are having so much fun talking with everyone.
there are about 30 here tonight, and we just had dinner, ...............chicken on the bbq, coleslaw, and lots of good appetizers.. angharad, and "her ladyship" (also known as englishman's wife), and inky are in the hot tub, and there are little groups of conversation going on all over the house and outside on the deck.. cruzanheart, bigtex and sixofnine got here a few minutes ago.
there are 8 from england so far, including a very nice couple who were on my flight from atlanta.. several of us went out on joy and steve's big sailboat for several hours and it was so fun, and relaxing.. tomorrow we get ready for the big halloween party.
Englishman
Hope you saved £50 ($75) on the flight for next May (after todays result:-))
Not jealous of course - on the golf course at 07.00 this morning - rain, sleet, wind & cold - wouldn't swop where you are for nothing - not!
Saw an e-mail saying Simon looked younger than he/she imagined - get some glasses fool:-))
