Personally, I wouldn't bother with the movie. The book is so much more powerful and is definetely a classic, even outside of the JW's.

I had read it prior, but the John 12 and Isaiah 6 connection nearly blew my mind. John was explicit about who Isaiah saw and who he spoke about.

Hebrews 8:6 : "But Jesus has now obtained a superior ministry, and to that degree He is the mediator of a better covenant, which has been legally enacted on better promises." (CSB) I'm not seeing anything in Hebrews about Jesus being a "better" Mediator, or the need for such. Strictly speaking about his Mediatorship, the only thing I could think of that would be "better" is that Christ will live for eternity to ensure legal compliance with the new covenant.

Three questions :
If Jesus is begotten of God, wouldn't that mean that at some point in the past, he was unexisting? If Jesus has the same nature as God, I would think that would include immortality. Yet, Jesus did not receive immortality until after his resurrection. How can this be?
And yes, Jesus atoned for the entire sin of the world. Yet, (again from a WT view), what was lost was a perfect Man in Adam. Thus, Jesus, being equally a perfect man, could provide an exact replacement for Adam. No?

Agreed that the scriptures say Jesus was begotten. My question though, was how that differs from being created, in terms of not having existence, and then existing at some point in time. This may be an impossible question to answer.
In a legal sense, wouldn't each party of the covenant (God & Humanity) need to be represented equally by an impartial party, who ensures both sides fulfil the terms of the covenant? Like a mediator? How could the covenant be mediated if one party was the same as the mediator?
Coming from a WT perspective, how would a perfect Man not be able to fulfil the requirements of a sinless life, to atone for Adam's life? Why does it need to be a God-man?

And, as mentioned in the DC a couple of years back, *everyone* who dies at Armageddon are judged then and will NOT receive a resurrection and are dead forever. I'm glad they were so clear about this, and that they are so confident in what God will do in the future, as this comment came out during a what-would-be successful fade.
I'm not sure how they can apply Matthew 10:23 to today's preaching work (and there's even been some doubt as to if it does, or not), as that seemed to apply specifically to *that* existing system of things.

The earlier you get there, the more "righteousness" you are earning, and the more "holy" you get to feel. Especially in comparision to all those "weak ones" and slackers who only get there 5-10 minutes before. They clearly aren't as dedicated as you are.
