From the about twenty tribe list in the Old Testament only three matches completely, and there are also gaps between them (eg Deuteronomy 33). The Bible says that Joseph is Jacob's son Joseph, so does the 12 tribe was one of the founders. In the tribe list consist usually one of two sons: Ephraim OR Manasseh is mentioned. The list in the Rev 7 (Differs by only two points and it is also a reason) is only unprecedented in the sense that Joseph and Manasseh (one father and son) appear in a separate strain. This is obviously due to the substitution, tribes became an idolater legitimately missing: Dan (Leviticus 24:11, Judges 18:1.30, 1 Kings 12:28-29) and Ephraim (Judges 17, Hosea 4:17). Levi may be included in the list is because although the land was not originally the son of Jacob, and was under a separate tribe from blood. Finally, in Moses' blessing of Joseph and his tribe of Levi is also included (see Deuteronomy 33).
The tribe of Dan is not listed, could be because of the Jewish perception of the Antichrist is from the tribe of Dan. It replaced by the son of Joseph, Manasseh. So the tribe of Dan, which emergently became an idolater is excluded, its report that all those who have to resemble the world more like God, share his fate, he will not be part of the chosen. Dan’s tibe was first reared its head in the idolatry (Judges 18th chapter), and in his district was Jeroboam calf. (1 Kings 12:30). Dan is already excluded in the book of Chronicles (I Chr 4-8.). Tribe of Ephraim is replaced by Joseph, because Ephraim split the unity of Israel.
