Lazarus came back to life during his resurrection but was later on invited to be part of the 144K, Heavenly Class. According to the WT teaching, such ones are considered to be, "Sons of God", and must be faithful until death to be part of the Heavenly Resurrection.

New DVD re Jerusalem's destruction, is not allowed to be viewed by the Bethelites

it sure had it's share of blood and violence.
i would imagine that the rating of that dvd would be in the "r" category.. i do remember that when you fill a bethelite application, it states that you you couldn't watch an "r" rated movie.

I do remember that when you fill a Bethelite application, it states that you you couldn't watch an "R" rated movie. The CO even came down heavily on our pioneers who attended a "R" rated movie.

Good imagination, Caleb. I can see that in the fact that you are trying to write a letter to Jehovah...Jehovah doesn't have a postal service.
Your letter has a good point about a child's imagination, and all.
Don't put much stock on this animated story. Bugs Bunny, and the Road Runner had some bad lessons on them too.
Recognize that this was just the point of view of the writer and not one of the Creator, who for the sake of explanation could have used magic to create the Universe.

I guess the substance of Blondie's research is that now, in 2012, if rebaptism is a personal matter, then Annullment should be a personal matter.
However, there will be resistance to this.
BOTR did bring up a interesting point about the baptism of John, and how it changed later to become the baptism of Jesus (in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)
The baptism today practicedby the ORG is different than the one in the first century. The ORG uses a Legalistic baptism that includes a list of questions, and a formal response before an audience acknowledging this commitment. Of course this legal contract may not be binding on those that wouldn't fit the legal age for signing or entering a contract. Whether this is a loophole or not, remains for a Legal expert to explain. That is why the Catholic legal case is an interesting one. The Catholics practice infant baptisms where the infant is not of age to make that decision.

This annulment is currently being challenged is Europe, against the Catholic Church. I'm not sure how far it has gotten.
