  I don't think so, but, I have worked with many University Grads and I can't see the difference between those who apply themselves and the graduates.

  Single Sisters Over A Certain Age Group Getting A Bad Rap

  i'm new here; one of my relatives was a member on this forum a few years ago and told me about it.

  anyways, as a sister who has been in the org since childhood and now in her late 40's (plus as a woman of color), i have noticed that a number of brothers have an ageist attitude.

  they are very accepting of young women under 26 and rejecting women over that age, particularly those in their 30's and over.. is this an unspoken mindset from wthq (specifically from bethel), or is it that quite a number of males (sorry, i'm not sexist here) have this type of mentality?

  Well that depends. If age is in the cards, you've got to improve your hand.

  If you are semi rich, have a nice car, home, you could probably get a reg. pioneer. I know a local situation where a young single reg pioneer married a 70 year old widow. He was her tenant.

  I imagine that it would be like the collapse of Germany when they heard that their Leader had committed suicide, and then reailty set in. Then the healing process took place. Many years of rebuilding.

  it was a mild surprise, learning that a brother and sister-in-law had began re-associating with jehovah's witnesses after at least 25 years of being away.

  the couple, of hispanic ethnicity, are in their early 60's, with their five children all grown and independent.

  the family had been considered nominal jws, infrequently attending meetings, rarely in field service, but using the annual convention as their family vacation.
