by therevealer indubs think that russell is de man, he is the "first cause" of modern jwism.
what would happen if a young dub the age that russell was when he first started his questioning of his and i must assume his father's religious beliefs.
would that young dub be allowed to explore his religious views in a similar way without getting himself into a great deal of problems.

Jehovah's Witnesses accept medical help and various forms of treatment. Our journal Awake! often contains articles on health matters. And although we do not endorse any particular treatment, we appreciate the help and cooperation of health-care professionals. Of course, we are aware that perfect health is not yet attainable. Therefore, we know that it is wise to avoid letting our health become an obsession or a constant concern. Our attitude should differ from that of those who have "no hope," who think that this life is all there is and who will resort to any therapy in an attempt to cure their ailments. We are determined not to forfeit Jehovah's approval in an effort to save our present life, for we are convinced that if we remain faithful to God, we will "get a firm hold on the real life," everlasting life in his promised new system of things.-1 Tim. 6:12, 19; 2 Pet. 3:13. w08 11/15 3:6
Don't you find it interesting how they just cannot give advice and admonition to the rank and file without resorting to negative comments of the world or "ones who have no hope". How many do you know of that have gone to great lengths to use some "Mexican cure" or what not. Certainly they are no different than the ones they denigrate or in many cases worse.

What would happen if a young dub the age that Russell was when he first started his questioning of his AND I must assume his father's religious beliefs. Would that young dub be allowed to explore his religious views in a similar way without getting himself into a great deal of problems. And since in today's jw world a young man of that age is not even considered to be ready to function within the congregation as a ministerial servant, how is it that Russell was old enough to begin the road to starting a new faith. And the great Jah new from whence he came and his auspicious beginnings and yet "apparently" was okay with this young rebel getting the ball rolling so that in 1914-19 Jesus could pick his group as the only ones practicing truth in an acceptable way. Just wondering,

Elders School
by EmptyInside inthe elders in the area are having their elders school.
it was announced at one hall,not to forget their badges or they wouldn't be allowed inside.. i shared with my mother some things in the elder book without telling her that's where i heard it.
she just shakes her head,but says it's still the truth.

I have heard that after the elders have gone through the new book they will on their return to the congregations disseminate it as food for the tired souls.
The letter to the elders says that the book will be considered at the "book study" because it is NOT secret material. However there are some who cling to the notion of secrecy because they think "book study" is a secret code.
