would any of us defend the right of a pharmacist to make up his own prescriptions and pass it off as what our physician specifically gave to us?.
would any of us approve equal time for tv advertisers to promote products as effective which had repeatedly proved to be dangerous?.

@slimboy - etal - I simply do not have enough savvy to know if it broke copywrite law. What I do love though is the fact that "Their Jah" was not powerful enough apparently to help them in the long run. Immediately after the take down of "that" website, Numerous mirror sites popped up. And to this day as the link above shows the site is basically intact and available for anyone who wishes to explore and study. jehober could not help them, so they had to rely on bully tactics which in the long run didn't work. Chalk one up for the postates, LOL

The antidote to the myth that JWs are declining
by slimboyfat inone of the most persistent myths on this website is that jws are already in decline, the rot has set in, and the descent of the watchtower is inevitable from here on in.
unfortunately the facts do not bear this out.
jws are still increasing even in most developing countries, and they are still growing worldwide at a faster rate than the general population.

Unbelievable Experience in Yearbook
by gingerbread ina number of years back i heard a story of a young girl in a congregation ( i have some good friends in this hall ) who had an amazing field service experience.
it was so amazing that it was retold in the 2007 yearbook!.
it is retold in the highlight of the past year section.

How can one understand unusual personal experiences such as when going from door-to-door?
by Fernando ingiven that i know how corrupt, dishonest and evil the watchtower is, i have wondered how to understand a personal experience i had many years ago - long before walking out mid-2009.. after an unusual series of many "co-incidences" on a particular sunday, my friend and i ended up at the door of someone who had been praying to god for someone to be sent to him, and who was expecting us.. i am still convinced it was by divine intervention, but cannot understand why a prayer is answered by sending representatives of an apostate organisation.. also when taking up residence in a foreign country, under very difficult circumstances, i twice ended up "inadvertently" moving in to homes just around the corner from the kh.
on one occasion it was about a 15 metre walk from my front door right into my seat in the kh!.
have you had similar experiences?.

I don't believe in satan any more than in god. But for the sake of a jw argument that these represent guidance from jah, we must remember they also claim that satan transfers himself into an angel of light or some such. So maybe that's what happened. LOL

punkofnice - it is a long time ago, but my memory is of a short break between the ministry school and service meeting as well. Was always a push to get everyone back to their seats to continue. Don't know why that might of been. LOL
