This resulted in a huge shout of praise to Jah the organization with many congregations reporting fifty percent participation and more. Buutt. The question that must be asked is - for what real purpose other than the warm fuzzies. We belong to such a great organization, look what we can do when sufficiently co-erced. And what real thing was acheived. The oil companies prolly appreciated the increase in gas consumption. The coffee shops likewise prolly had banner months. But what real and tangible thing was acheived?

Yes, yes. And I is just so happified that I was able to have a full share in the reduced hour thingy. I wonder if the huge success will lead to reducedier and reducedier hours to where there can be one hundred percent participation.

Judas and Unforgivable Sin
by corpusdei ini'll be the first to admit that i haven't done the research on this one, and i can't remember the answer from my jw days - but there's something bothering me about the scenario of judas and his betrayal of jesus.. considering that the betrayal of jesus by judas was foretold in prophecy, it was essentially set in stone.
it was going to happen, it was an absolute because divine prophecy is correct.
judas had to betray jesus in order to fulfil prophecy.. now, i've always personally believed that a person does not sin by an act that they cannot avoid, but this seems like kind of the motherload of standing on the traintracks.

I remember an illustration "something" like this in a talk one time LOL
by therevealer inmy wife stood before me with some items in front of her.
without a word, she emptied a large jar of mayonnaise and proceeded to fill the empty jar with rocks right to the top, rocks about 2" diameter, then asked me if the jar was full.
i agreed that it was.. she then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them in to the jar.

I actually attended the "school" in _______ and at that school it was related (in a talk/demo) that a brother had become to elaborate with a demo in his talk. He had actually built a board with lights that would blink to identify the cities (I think it was one of the trips of Paul or one of those zealous early "pioneers"). Anyhoo the electrical circuit shorted out and actually caught the thing on fire. Apparently this was going to far according to the counsel we received.

within HIS timeframe, it has ALREADY occurred??? Wha?? That would mean that all that has and will occur has, in HIS timeframe. That means that HE already knows the outcome with Satan. Why then wait to deal with him??
