from a Yahoo e-mail group, the pot calling the kettle black, o'boy
by therevealer init's not the fault of the people who believe it but those that teach it.
false religion teaches people nonsense and since their flocks know nothing about the bible, they don't know how to reason such teachings from the scriptures.
anything that doesn't make sense, like this subject or the trinity, they're told that's where faith comes in.

you realize Snoozy that this post has Nothing to do with ME. It is a copy and paste from the Yahoo group e-mail. AND the point of doing so is to show how they look ascance at others while not realizing they are exactly the same. Don't jw's teach nonsense. Don't they insist on the agreeing whether they agree or not. Don't they delve into every nuance of teachings that make one ask the questions, why this subject and say what??? when looking at thier conclusions.
The post has nothing to do with my conjectures on hymens. I just felt that it showed to the nth degree how blind they are.
By the way, I read the info from the catholic source as the hymen would be ruptured by child birth, not that it means anything.

It's not the fault of the people who believe it but those that teach it. False religion teaches people nonsense and since their flocks know nothing about the bible, they don't know how to reason such teachings from the scriptures. Anything that doesn't make sense, like this subject or the trinity, they're told that's where faith comes in. To them faith is not based on evidence, it's your willingness to believe anything that makes no sense or that you can't explain from the scriptures.
I remember reading an article in the catholic encyclopedia about whether or not Mary's himen was ruptured while giving birth to Jesus. They concluded it was not therefore she remained a virgin after givng birth to Jesus and of course for ever after. That is the nonsense false religion spends it's time trying to figure out then teaches it's members who figure, "well, they're the educated ones, they must know."
Really though its not any different today than in Jesus day when you couldn't where sandles made with nails on the sabath because the extra weight of the nails constitues work while walking. False religion has always made fools of people starting with Eve. -

June 15, 2011 WT... Are they really getting that desperate?
by Alfred inso i was just browsing the june 15, 2011 (study edition) watchtower and came across this seemingly desperate article in the last two pages (29 & 30):.
a christian has a scriptural obligation to care for his family, and that includes providing for their material needs.

You can be a computer programmer without going to college, if you learn from a young age you should do fine.
I would however like to see you get a job with no credentials on a resume, just sayin. I have a son who has learned on his own and he is not working for Microsoft.
The other thing I would like to say about these scumbags is. who are the ones that created the MEP'S program and continue to keep the extensive use of computers for all sorts of activities from office to writing up and running.
It's like hounding the rank and file about working shift work etc., but then running the presses in Canada two shifts, 6 a.m.-11 p.m. But of course since it is in Jehovah's house working directly for Jehovah it's okay!!! Hypocritical cult leaders they are!!!

How do JW's know that the GB is getting closer to the truth?
by Mad Dawg intheir claim, to cover up changed teachings, is that they are always getting closer to the truth.
how do we know that the gb is closer now than they were 50 or a hundred years ago?
how do we know that the gb hasn't been drifting away for the last 50 years?.

How is it he knew years before that in the fall of 1914 peace would be taken away from the earth?
Well now. If that don't make jw's the "truth" then what possibly could. But, remember that many were going on and on about the end of times etc. and russell just picked up on this. And we must remember that his other source of info was the great pyramid of Geza. He was getting on in age so maybe the pyramid of Geza for an old geezer was appropriate. This was a small part of what impressed me when I was first studying. Now since I have "clued in" I almost feel ashamed and embarassed that I soaked up the bull that was involved with this claim. How could it NOT be the "truth" if Russell was able to foretell or foresee this (at the time I was studying it was the idea that he had predicted ww1 30 or so years ahead of it occuring) Well as most on here know, if you do a study of it all it is so clearly not what it is made to be.

canadian healthcare is still requiring a monthly "bill" as in the equivalent to a u.s. insurance. of course the big difference is you won't be turned away if you are in default (I think) and the monthly bill depends on ability to pay to some extent. Old people like me pay less, etc. So I personally do not think this is the reason for printing in Canada. But what I think is cute is how these little volunteer pawns can be required to work hours that would not be acceptable for ones out in "the field". When on the afternoon shift I have a feeling they would be missing some meetings.
And I apologize for going of topic like that. Jgnat is such a trooper for doing that for peace in the family.

If an 89 year old woman can pioneer, why can't you slackers and bums do it?
by miseryloveselders inwhat's wrong with you slackers?
huh?
enough with your excuses!!!

So, on the one hand they reduce the time requirement to actually "15 Minutes" yes fifteen minutes so that poor old women like this can feel that they have Jah's blessing inspite of inability to get out for more than that. Then they suggest that they can get 70 hours. Its like dropping the book study after saying for years that meeting would allow for surviving the great trib because of the nature of that arrangement. They are bat-shit crazy. If guilting elderly ones like this to engage in this insanity is not elder abuse, well I don't know what is. I was actually wondering if this might not be another of these silly things sliped in by a disgruntled writer. It really does sound inane. Because she had not been in the hospital?? So get out there quick cause ya never know when you'll be off to the haspital again. Just sayin. They are either bat-shit crazy or someone is pulling someones leg.

So jw's "pioneered" bloodless surgery did they. The only thing they pioneered is pioneering.

It is all about counting hours.
by Sour Grapes inthe april km in the "question box" ask "how long should we.
study with a progressive bible student?".
it says that there are "two publications that need to be completed.

During my time "in" there were a few times when KM articles reviewed this subject of time and how and when and what to count. Anyone who was there will remember that they were quite detailed. And even back then these articles bothered me. It just seemed "off" to be laying down such rules and regulations for the way to count time. And what a contrast with how many actually filled in thier "slips". Like the one elder friend who I was with a couple of times where we had to get out time handed in. He would scratch his head and say "Oh I must have gotten ten hours".
