"You are the ones that have stuck with me in my trials; just as my Father has made a covenant with me, for a kingdom, that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones to judge the TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL."
So the twelve were given a covenant to judge the twelve tribes of Israel (the 144,000).. not to JUDGE the "great crowd" from EVERY nation and tribe... and people, and tongue... etc.
The new covenant makes possible the kingdom covenant. They go together.
So going by your logic.. the Memorial is ONLY for the twelve apostles since the "covenant for a kingdom" was judging the 144,000 sons of Israel.

as a matter of fact, when paul wrote to the phillipians he was under arrest in rome.

by SoManyQuestions inmy biggest question about jw is regarding the 144,000 from revelations.
how could john know exactly how many people were there?
how did he know that they were representing the 12 tribes of israel?

How could John know exactly how many people were there?
When John was there, he heard a number of those to be sealed, one hundred forty four thousand, sealed out of EVERY tribe of the sons of Israel. Contrary to the JWs, the truth is this is LITERAL "Israel." there is a great multitude that no man could number seen standing in sight of the throne in HEAVEN, worshipping God IN HIS TEMPLE in HEAVEN with the 144,000 firstfruits.

John was not told they 'represented' the 12 tribes, he was told they ARE the 12 tribes.
How do you know if you are in the 144,000?
The same way he calls the great multitude to go to heaven. It is found in Romans 8:14-17. Notice.. ALL who are led by God's spirit go to heaven. The great multitude are 'led by God's spirit' therefore they go to heaven.
What happens when all the spaces fill up, like people who are born 1,000 years from now...will they never have a chance?
When the 144,000 and the great multitude have all been gathered in, then God will turn his attention back to Israel who remained in their lack of faith. Those who then put faith in God's Son will be grafted back to the vine, they will be shown mercy. And in this way, ALL of Israel will be saved.

If they are in union with Christ, they will become apart of the vine in union with Him.

What happens to the JWs that aren't chosen? And the non-JWs?
Actually, the JWs are the ones who persecute the great multitude and the 144,000. they have "thier group" of imposters who hate and kill anyone who is a TRUE member of God's household. They know it, but they do not let their 'flock of organized people' know it.

Well, dearest OlderTom, "boredom" is a thing of the flesh. "Flesh with its blood CANNOT inherit God's kingdom. It is not in subjection to God's law, nor in fact, can it EVER be. The flesh is of "no use at all" and was not designed to 'live forever.' Since there will be "no flesh" there is "no boredom."

Well, 1000 years does NOT equal 1 day. There is no scripture that says 1000 years equals one day... hence the logic is flawed.
Have you forgotten that in the spirit realm they are NOT bound by time like we are? Hence they can talk and do things instantaneously. The whole revelation can be completed in 11 earth mins.

the "question" got me a lot of strange looks & a little "shunning" to boot.
it waz later spread around i waz boasting of having, "a question no one can answer"which of course, waz not true.. my question: if every decision one makes iz based on heredity & environment,things we originaly have no choice over, do we really have a choice or free will?.

Our decisions are not based upon heredity and enviornment, they are based upon what each individual WANTS to base it upon. Some choose to base it upon Heredity only, some choose to base it upon enviornment only, some choose to base on other people's heredity and/or other people's enviornment.
Ultimately, all decisions are based upon the persons spirit, and the person's spirit will decide what he will use to make his own decisions. Jeremiah said it does not belong to man to depend upon himself, to make his own right decisions. Those who heeded the counsel, rather then choosing their own way, they choose 'THE way' 'the truth' 'the life.' Those that know 'him' were set 'free'.

John 8:32,36Every man makes his own decisions, some choose the right way , some choose the wrong. Each person will make his own decision based upon the way they WANT to base it upon.

each table is identified by the kind of symbolic food placed upon it, and all of us are eating at one or the other.

Which table was he speaking of?
Upon reading 1 Corinthians 10:16, 17 our brother Paul says: "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a communion of the body of Christ? 10:17seeing that we, who are many, are one bread, one body: for we are all partake of the one bread. "
Now is this the 'table of Jehovah, or the table of Christ?' You said eating at the table of the Lord (unless you want to say Jehovah IS Jesus) means the 'spiritual nourishment' provided by a class of men by means of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society.
Paul however, defines what that table really is. In 1 Corinthians 10:16, 17 he is not talking about spiritual food coming in the form of books and magazines by means of a 'corporation.' He is speaking of the UNLEAVENED BREAD and WINE, that is, the body of the Lord and his blood. THIS is the table of the Lord which he was speaking of.

It's called 'reasoning.' Anyone who can create is a 'creator' .. for a 'creator' is one who CAN create. You say Satan created the first lie... that is incorrect. The scripture is not speaking of no 'night time' it is speaking of no more Night.
Night is the name God gave Darkness at the time God created 'Light.' He is the first Enemy of God, and the last enemy that will be 'brought to nothing.' (1 Corinthians 15:26).
"Night" is the entity that is responsible for the unrighteousness that was FOUND in the 'anointed cherub.' God DID NOT give Satan the ability to "create evil." If God did, that makes Satan a Creator. There is but ONE Creator, our God and Father, and his Son, our Lord and Saviour.
Night, did not create evil either. He IS evil and has always been 'evil.' Just as God is 'good' and has holy spirit, "Night" is 'bad' and Night has his 'spirit.' God's spirit bears fruit of love, joy, peace, goodness, kindness, etc. Night's spirit bears fruit of sickness, pain, suffering, sin, anger, hatred, death, etc.
When Jesus chose 'good' OVER 'bad,' God 'begot' him with his holy spirit. The 'anointed cherub' chose 'bad' OVER 'good' and thus was 'begotten' by Night's 'spirit.' The 'anointed cherub,' thus became an only begotten 'son' to Night, and Night became his 'father.'
