Where does it say it is a 'sin' if you don't believe that Jesus is his own Father, but believe Jesus is separate from his Father?

the question has always been, primarily: is jehovah really god?
secondarily, the question has been: are jehovahs witnesses really jehovahs witnesses?
or, perhaps worded differently: is the watchtower really the voice of christs appointed faithful and discreet slave of prophecy?
when it appears that we are not who we have claimed to be,
Indeed you have heard the Master correctly concerning you and all those with you.
You "buttered" it up so that you can continue to believe you are 'anointed,' but the situation which you saw a "glimpse" of is actually FAR worse than what you pictured.
I wish you all would "pay heed" but you don't want to, so I leave you, to your error, misleading and being MISLED.
Peace!

with all the problems in the 'truth' and all the things that we know are wrong with it there seems to be aspects of their theology (i.e the sequences of the world powers, statue in daniel, the promise of world restoration again found in daniel) that to me still make sense.
although i cannot follow a religion that believes in the destruction of all humanity barring those that respond to their own preaching work i still believe in a creator and cannot accept the teachings of other religions that have no purpose for the earth and believe that mankinds only destiny is in heaven.
my mind keeps telling me that if god was behind a religion it would be so much better than that of the jws.
Once you "see" the Son of God and actually believe in Him, you WANT to go to him and ask him everything. He is VERY lowly in heart and will answer all your questions directly the same way a man would answer a man "mouth to mouth."
All you have to do is put faith in what you hear, after you hear it. Ask him for the holy spirit that he pours out from within himself so that you may be in union with him and behold him in union with his Father.
This is all literal. It doesn't happen with all, because "all" do not want it. But any who wish it, may have it.
Peace!

is it possible to exercise your faith without joining a religion?...i asked the same question to my professor in theology and her response was...as human beings we have this nature of being social so it's always in a community that you could exercise your faith..there's not such a thing as "individualistic" faith because it is within a community that your faith can grow...what do u think?
thanks.
you asked what "church" I attend.
I attend only one "temple" and in that "temple" I seek the face of the Holy One of Israel through my Lord, Jesus the Anointed One. And it is in this temple that my Lord, the High Priest, speaks to me.
I hear his voice the same way I hear any other voice, and he who is speaking, I am under obligation not to beg off from him, but to obey.

Greetings gotcha,
If I may, you asked if its possible to "excercise faith" outside of religion.
The answer: YES!
What is faith?
Faith - Confident reliance (dependence) on the ability of a person, idea, or thing.
Abraham when told to leave his country to visit some strange land RELIED heavily on the ability that God would take care of him and tell him where to go.
Did Abraham need to be joined to a religion to do this?
John, when told to write down the things he saw, and will see, RELIED heavily that it was Jesus Christ whom he beheld and heard.
Did john need to be joined to a religion to do this? (He was in PRISION)
By confident belief that what we hear is really from God, we speak and do. we are cautioned not to beg off from Him who is "SPEAKING to us from the heavens."
We are told to leave religion, the unclean thing, and to SEPARATE ourselves from. And God will take us in. Hence we are TOLD to excercise faith OUTSIDE of religion.
And thus our brother said:
"Let us, then, go forth to him outside the camp (religion), bearing the reproach he bore,"
Hebrews 13:13, 14
2 Corinthians 6:17, 18
Hebrews 12:25
Peace to you!

You Know,
And yet NO mention of Christ, NO mention of holy spirit, and NO mention of "Jehovah."
Who really "anointed" you? Was it a teaching of Jehovah's witnesses that "anointed" you? Have you even MET Christ face-to-face?
Still wishing peace

Individual,
I totally understand where you are coming from. Actually, in the organization, NO emphasis is given to Christ. It's always "Jehovah and HIS organization."
Funny how Psalms says that kings (religious rulers) will mass together as one, against Jah, and his Anointed One. ('organization' doesn't appear there).
There was a time when I was JW I loved to try to convince people they were wrong, and my focus was to 'born-again' christians. But when I spoke to them, they asked a question that I KNEW would NEVER leave me. They asked:
Why don't I ever hear Jehovah's witnesses glorify Jesus?
I couldn't answer that so I remained silent. I then knew we unknowingly degrade the Son, and i felt robbed because of it. I later asked an elder and he said "Because he is just a 'model', nothing more."
Then later a 'voice' which I learned later to be the Christ, came to me and made me read Revelation 5:12, 13.
Then it gave me:
Revelation 5:8, 14
Matthew 28:18
This changed the way I prayed. I tried so hard to give Jesus MORE glory without being seen a 'potential apostate.'
When i finally came out, I saw just how much glory Jesus really did deserve, I was SO happy. One of the questions posed to me was ... "Does Jesus truly have 'all authority' in heaven?"
course the answer was "yes" in Matthew 28:18.
The next question was ... "Ok, if he truly has ALL authority in heaven, does he NOW have the authority to receive worship?"
I knew that if Jesus didn't have the authority to be worshipped, that means Jesus didn't have ALL authority in heaven. Which in turns make Matt. 28:18 a lie.
Jesus has the 'authority' to receive worship. as well as prayers, spirits of men, etc. He sits on God's THRONE! So obviously, ALL adore him as they did the Father.

Individual,
May you have peace!
I totally understand what you are going through, and what you are feeling.
If I may, I would like to point out that you asked which religion do you go to now.
We who are "looking for truth" aren't supposed to ask "which religion do I go to now?" Nor are we supposed to be asking "Where do I go now?" This is all due to brainwashing of the WTBTS. They ingrained this in us while we were in so that if we EVER do find out they are imposters, we would never find the truth. How so?
When many of the disciples left off from following Jesus, Jesus asked the 12, "Do you want to go also?"
Peter answered: "Lord, WHOM shall we go away to? YOU have the word of everlasting life and we have come to know and believe that you are the Holy One of God."
John 6:66-69
If you look through the Bible, where in the Bible does it say "Look for the 'true religion?' " Or where in the Bible does it say: "Look for a place to go?" In fact, where does the Bible direct us to go "anywhere?"
Our Father said:
"This is my Son, LISTEN TO HIM"
Holy spirit says:
"Today, if you people will HEAR HIS OWN VOICE, do not harden your hearts..."
The scriptures say:
"The law through Moses was a tutor, LEADING us TO CHRIST."
And the Christ says:
"Come to ME all you who are toiling and loaded down, and I will refresh you. Take MY yoke upon you, and LEARN FROM ME, for I am mild-tempered and LOWLY in heart."
"All who have heard from the Father, and has got the 'sense' of it, COMES to ME."
"I am the bread of life. He that COMES to ME will never get hungry and he that believes in me will never get thirsty at all."
Individual, we were asked, advised, and warned to not put our faith in man, a 'group of men' or even religion. Our faith, our love, our obedience belongs to One. The Christ. And it is Him we are supposed to seek. If you ask for a religion, you will be given a religion, if you ask for a place, you will be given a 'place.' Remember he said:
"Anything you ask me in the name of me, this I will do."
So, if we ask for HIM, we ask for Christ himself, we will get Christ HIMSELF. And once we have him, we will have no need of religion, or men, or a 'group of men' trying to mislead us. We can go directly to Christ and listen to his voice.
Christ offers a free gift (not Watchtower and Awake) of holy spirit which he recieves from his Father. Such spirit comes to live inside you and fills you. By means of that spirit you get to "know" Christ and thus know the "way."
I was once looking through the yellow pages and I asked Jesus "Ok, which one of these billions of religions is the one?" I heard his answer, and he kept repeating:
"I am the way, and the truth and the life."
"I am the WAY, and the TRUTH, and the LIFE."
He also said that when you recieve the free gift of holy spirit, "In that day you will KNOW that I am in union with my Father and you are in union with me and I am in union with you."
today the world beholds him no more, but you who recieve the holy spirit, YOU will behold him. You will see his figure, hear his voice, talk to him, and he talk to you.
All this is available if you indeed wish it. all you have to do is look in your heart, be repentant and ask him out of a 'clean' heart to see and 'know' him. When you DO hear his own voice, "do not harden your heart like at Meribah and as in the day of Massah in the wilderness" like our fathers did.
Believe what you hear, and obey. When you have time, read Psalms 78 and begin preparing your heart to believe and obey Christ alone. christ will hear from his Father, and declare it to you. It is up to you if you want to believe him or not. For he will come to you and he will lead you out of the darkness and into HIS light. All you have to do is hear and obey. The more you obey, the more you hear. The sooner you get out of the Darkness and the closer you get to the Light.
May his peace be upon you, as he guides and directs you. All I am, is your servant in Christ.

Hello bjc..
word from our Father God, through his Word Jesus the Anointed is:
"Bjc, if you are thristy you still can come to me and drink.
Look! I hold out an open Door to you. I am he who opens so that NO ONE shuts and I shut so that NO ONE opens. Drink from me, and you will be filled.
For if you keep drinking from that source, you will continue to get thristy again. Drink from me, and you will never get thirsty at all."
Peace to you,
Aaron
