another month, another ypa article just ripe for mocking.
(there's more snark here if you enjoy poking these articles as much as i do).

literally hundreds and hundreds of quotations like the one below have been made, to "prove" that only the heavenly -hopers are "sons of god".
(type in 'spiritual sons of god' in cd rom).
"jehovah forgives the error of the other sheep on the basis of jesus shed blood of the covenant.
given we are not going to live forever, none of us knows when our time is up, and meaning isn't handed to us on a plate?
how do we go about inscribing our lives with meaning within unknown constraints of time and resources?.
have you got a strategy?
so i'm having a quite morning and then "ding" goes the front bell.. not expecting anyone, saturday morning 11:00am.. go to the door look out the window and see briefcases.. i open the door not knowing what i would say or do.. .
it's old terry the elder and his sidekick 25-30 male.. i knew terry from my childhood.
he gave many talks at conventions.
Heh, you should really have considered not to reveal you knew him from your previous life, but tell him that voices from above told you his name. That would have made it very nice convention experience.

so the co is in town...sorry i can't disclose much info....i haven't done anything wrong that warrants no longer serving as an ms....but the co is thinking of deleting me as an ms (my parents are aware)....i really hope he does as this will make my fade much more easier...... freedom is just around the corner i hope.... peace.
kool jo.
Wouldn't it be nice, when you meet the elders that first thing you would say is you have been meditating a lot and that you have decided to leave your privileges as MS, because ......... Then just thank them that they took time to meet you and you had this way possibility to express your decision.

hi everyone, this is sort of a long story but i'll try to keep it short.. mrs inisc was previously married, and before our wedding the elders were giving us a bit of a hard time as her divorce was nigh on complete but just wasn't officially finished, however what they were really concerned about was they weren't sure her ex husband had had "relations" as they like to say,as there wasn't enough satisfactory evidence in their opinion.
this of course made me almost catatonic with rage, especially since we hadn't been to a meeting in about 6 f'ing months and this was what they were worried about.
and i might add the wedding was entirely booked!.

if you and your spouse were both jws but you decided to leave and your spouse decided to stay: a few questions.
i am going to be addressing the international cultic studies association (icsa) in july at the conference in montreal.
my focus is on 3 groups.
None really, we were both in crossways when all this happened, she decided to stay, I decided to explore my own path. Technically I am not DF/DA but I gave the elders all the weapons if they would like to use it. I still think I should first and most make decision based on moral principles, which I do not find that bad at all.
It was clear that we could not continue to conversate over religious matters, which is fine for me. Every now and then she gets sad because we will not spend all eternity together. I try to convince her that I make my very best to nurture happy relation in this life.
As far as I know they haven't
No
We spend more time together than earlier. They follow their mother to meetings and assemblies, but clearly can not be counted as active witnesses. But I doubt this would be different if I would have continued to attend as infrequent I did.
I've told all of this very openly to my therapist. What I would like them to understand is that personal issues cannot be fully credited to being part of JW religion. There are lots of good things there too and even many happy memories. It is not as black and white as they seem to like to understand.

actually, i did not read the daily text everyday, i would say once a while.
.
Nope,
I read it at conventions when it was part of the program, and if it was handled in meeting for field service. Otherwise I did not touch the book.
