i appreciate the words of another poster who commented that he felt it unwise to post in anger.
i have tried to hold calm and keep my anger in check, but that started to change with my nato posting yesterday.. i am set back over 30 years: i was raised to respect all races, and not to be prejudiced.
i was also raised a proud american, and that it was important not to tolerate bullies.

I'm very sorry that you were so personally affected by this tragedy.
I hate the idea of collateral damage as much as the next guy. If this can be solved without it I for one would cheer as these guys are brought to justice. I just don't see how that can be achieved.

I didn't say it was okay to kill babies because they killed ours. If you have been reading this thread you have also read about "collateral damage." I'm sorry, but that includes innocents, be they babies, small children or women or whomever. Not my idea.

What's this crap about stomping around in the blood of babies until I get enough of it?
Do you think for one minute that there were no babies or little children on those airplanes? And how do you know for sure. I have never been on a plane where there were no babies or small children. So much for the innocent blood of babies.

Amazing, you have said what I have been thinking and feeling.
I think there is more. All those passengers on those hijacked planes had no idea they were going to die when they boarded. None of those people in the WTC knew they could die in a few hours or minutes. They were all innocent victims.
We all saw the dancing in the streets and huge smiles and laughter in Afganastan when they heard the news. Innocent? Hardly. Certainly not in their hearts, if in their actions. I agree with the poster on another thread who suggested in turning that country into a glass parking lot. They all know whose side they are on and are gleeful when the US is attacked. They hate us with an unfathamable hate.
If they are not nuked this will continue. They are not attacking military operations, but sites where the most innocent citizins will likely be. So they have innocent citizins. So be it. Nuke them and take the flack. Kilroy

OT mass murdering and baby killings aside, looking at these drawings of torture in the name of "Our Lord" are just sickening. Did Jesus order this? There had to be a lot of thought and design put into these horrible instruments of torture and the carrying out of this stuff by good Christians. Who could stand and watch these tortures?
Where was Jesus? Didn't this stuff take place because those Christians could not go along with what was being preached in the Catholic church? "I will die defending my Lord! But where in the hell is he?"

i went to the homepage for ray franz' commentary press, and i found an article there promoting the idea that genesis teaches a local flood.
the author believes the genesis flood actually happened, as a local event, and that an ark actually were floating on top of local flood waters in the mesopotamia area some thousand years ago.
i recognized many arguments from a talk carl olof jonsson gave at a "christian freedom" seminar in sweden in, i think, 1996, so i guess that this article, too, is written by coj.

If you meant to say American Indians, yes they do have a legend. I looked in my photo albums and found a snapshot of me and my two boys when returning from an assembly in Winnepeg Canada circa 1966. The plaque on the totem pole says "THE RAVEN FLOOD TOTEM".
I can't read the rest of it because the camera was not close enough. But the gist of the story is that the raven saved two children from a great flood. Can't remember if it was a boy and a girl but that sounds like it had to be. WTS says all these legends just prove what they have been saying all along. Go figure.

One of my biggest problems with a global flood is:
If the flood broke up the land masses, how did the kangaroos and wallabees and all those idigineous creatures get to Austrailia? How did the pandas and koalas get where they needed to be to get their specialized food?
