i am desperate to get the book coc into the hands of my daughter and her husband, just trying to find a way.. it got me thinking i wonder how many active jws could read that book and still stay in the org ?.

it had such an impact on my life and others i know.

i had never even heard of such a book.

When out in service, many years ago, a householder gave me and my soon to be bro, in-law, the book 30 years a watchtower slave by Baker Schnell [not sure on the spelling of the last name]

We took the book and looked through it, it had many good points, so took it to elder high and mighty R, Jay of brutis cong. He said he had already read the book took it from us and said that schnell would send brothers out in service and then turn them in to the police so he could come and bail them out and be the hero. We ooooed over this bit of clap trap. and walked away thinking we were just saved from the devil not thinking that we got absolutely no explanation on the questions we just asked, but then thinking back, R Jay was always the one trying to be in the lime light and the hero. go figure, So people who are in the dubdom are there for ulterior motives, some like my old partner kunde loves the lime light to get up on stage and have the bors and sisis give him the golf clap. same with Jay, he loves to be the in charge kind of guy telling people when to crap ect. others need the support that they get from being told that they are good people, others want their life with uncertainties all spelled out for them, So for most dubbers it does not matter what you have, if you had a video of Freddie Franz wanking off a 13 year old pioneer boy, it just does not matter, but the ones that think for them selves, these are the ones that coc will do some good for, and these people are already thinking and trying to figure out why the society does not make sense.

I know some of you will think this hard, but I feel no sympathy for an adult that makes a stupid desision like this, they get what they deserve, just like those that do not save for their retirement and have to work at 70, they have to lay in the bed they made.

i made an interesting find last evening.

i stumbled across a site purporting to be a jehovah's witness reform movement.

while it sees value in jehovah's witnesses, its primary purpose is to reform the governing body.

WHY?

You may as well try to reform the Manson gang. Why on earth would someone try to reform a cult? There is only one reason, these "reformers" have not made the leap to cut the ties to the mind control cult, they see there are things wrong but cant bring themselves to leave. This is like a heroin addict saying they can reform the drug so it is more user friendly. not possible. there is only one way to fix the problem of being a dubber. leave cold turkey, If you have family and friends that ridicule you when you leave, it is just like the Hitler jugend, to use pressure from your piers to keep your thinking in line, the good news is that there is not dubber state to back up the Jehovah jugend. Reform is an illusion, DON'T buy into this garbage. those that are holding on try to leave as fast as you are able. for those that have left, stay away from the cult. Remember how they look harmless to the house holder at first then before you know it you are cutting ties to family and friends that are non dubbers.

Is College now wrong for Jehovah's Witnesses again?

i have been out of the jw's for many years now but i still have devout jw's family members.

and i am attending college now at 40 yrs old working on my ba degree.

i was so happy a few years ago when my jw mom told me that the wt is slacking off on telling jw's teenagers that college is bad and it is ok to attend college and universities.

It has never been ok for dubs to go to college, they publishe articals that some may need higher ed. to find jobs, this consisted of trade schools and just enough credits to get a job to support service.

They have never publicly or privatly said it was good to go to college, They do not out and out say that you can not, but discurage it as much as possible. They usually use the look at sister brother so and so, they are pionering and if you love hovha, you should take note of their example.

I know of several people that have went to college and had to keep it under the table to keep from getting the look of "You should be puting your time in to something to support the preaching work" gaze.

what proves jw's aren't true?

i am inactive and it took years of doubt to convince myself the jw's arent true.

i started doubting because i hated the idea that jehovah would kill 6 billion non-jw's.

the thing now that is the most important proof for me is that until 1954 jw's worshipped jesus and it is still in the watchtower charter, even though you now get disfellowshipped for worshipping jesus.

for me I was afraid to question for fear of being show how stupid I was, then when they changed the meaning of generations, in 1995 I threw the tower across the room and said enough, and have not went back. I told every one since 1982 that the time was fast aproching that the dubs had set a kind of time limit with the "this generation will by no means pass away" definition.

Then just when it is time to put up or shut up they did the Wile E. Cyote and threw a ACME instand hole against the hard place they were up against and ducked out the back door they created.

That was it I was done with this comic book bunch of idiots.

Problems in paradise

i know there are a ton of problems with the idea of paradise.

i was just thinking about how much sense it doesnt make.

for example how is it supposed to work as far as housing arrangements?

My problem was with the artist rendition on the cover of towers. they show a tractor in the field. people building homes. ect. but who mined the ore to make parts for the tractor? who made the trucks to transport the sand to the factory to make the glass for the homes? ect. who loomed the fabric for the togas for that the ethnic people were depicted as wearing? fantasy.

Funeral Question

i had another member of my family die, i was not close to her.

Vickie's unbelieving partner, went to a catholic church when he took her down state to see the specialists,

he talked with a priest and told him the situation and that he was not catholic, the priest said that it did not matter, and that if he wanted he would pray with Dennis.

Now can you put this together and get the sick picture that the dubs have painted?

A catholic priest prayed with another human that was in distress, but a dubber would not talk with a person dieing when asked.

What kind of sick fucks would do such an unconscionable deed?
