  such as your evening of family worship.....

  share in the ministry together.....

  work with your family on a kingdom hall maintence projec.....

  join them on a trip to a convention....

  These paragraphs are nothing but the usual repititious demands and brainwashing of the borg masked as a reminder to be loving to our single brothers and sisters. All acts of charity should involve activities that benefit the religion. Disgusting.

  some are here almost, out of need.. others are here because they want to know the latest in watchtower world.. still others come here for the entertainment.. why do you frequent this place?

  I gotta admit, everytime I open this site a part of me hopes to find a thread or news article which undeniably exposes the borg for what they are. Kinda like a witness eagerly turning on the news to watch a final sign of impending armageddon. Other than that this is a great place to vent and research. I'd like to thank the members who diligently research and dig up info so others like me can easily look it up and benefit.

  Adultery in the Bible

  i know that when you take a marriage vow, faithfulness is expected and either party going outside that bond is wrong.

  however as i read the bible i seem to notice that in the old testament a woman having relations with anyone not her husband was adultery, however the only way a male can commit adultery is to have relations with another married woman, thereby infringing on another mans wife.

  if a married man was to have relations with an unmarried woman or prostitute, this isnt considered adultery.

  Why A True Believing Governing Body Member Cannot Be Humble?

  governing body admonish all their members to be humble christians repeatedly almost to the point of verbal beatings to keep them in line with the corporation and humbly do the work they are asigned.

  they will use this scripture to examine whether or not a brother qualifies for being used as an elder:.

  2:24"but a servant of our lord ought not to fight, but to be humble toward every person, instructive and long-suffering,".

  I have had the extreme unfortune to sit and listen to a couple of David Splanes talks at DC's. He is one of the most repulsive and offensive speakers I have ever heard. His words are vitriolic shit.

  Angry, then relieved that the doubts Ive had my whole life were finally legitimate, then excited to wake up other people, then let down by their reactions, and now disturbed by their willingness to be brainwashed.
