I was deleted as MS some years ago, a brother thought I became an elder. At the circuit assembly, He asked me if I am elder now, I said Yes so the brother told me ALL of the gritty details about his wife and her sister that got disfellowshipped at the same time. They went out with the worldly guys and they both got pregnant. When the brother found out that I lied to him, he was very furious with me and he has not talked to me ever since.

Did any of you know the TATT before you left?
by marriedtoajw ini know that all everyone's experience vary but i ask this because i am under the impression that since jw's are taught to avoid reading material that may be critical of their teachings they just stay away.
yet many of you violated this at some point to come accross information that confirmed or convinced you of "the problems" with the org.
i have also spoken to active jw's online who seem to know the controvercies but still defend the org vigorously.

September 11, 2001- Where were you?

i was sitting at the desk on the computer, i kid you not... writing the security (hijacking) curriculum for 2002, when someone came in and told me a plane flew into the wtc.
we all thought it was one of our planes.

I was living with my parents on that day between jobs. My Mom notified me there is a VERY BIG NEWS on CNN, so I turned my TV on in my room. I was VERY shocked. I watched CNN for more than few days straight after that.

Any suggestions for a 'quick' tour of Yellowstone National Park??

i know the park is huge and i won't have much time there, but in a couple of weeks i will have a day or a day and a half to explore this part of the country.. i will be busy at big sky resort for a few days and leaving from bozeman on tuesday.
that leaves all day monday and possibly part of sunday to explore.. does anyone have any suggestions for maximizing my free time in yellowstone?
