Why are the British football team so useless?
by highdose inlast nights match was humiliating.
and lets face it... if they even make it to the semi's it will be amazing!.
ok you could say well they are playing agianst the best teams in the world... but other teams manage!?!.

You guys are taking this way too seriously. England didn't lose, it was a tie. Who played the best ?? I saw one US player on TV saying the US was extremely lucky and neither team is out of it yet. England could very well come out of this winning it all.

Freezing at conventions
by crapola inwe always hear about how hot it was in the open air stadiums of years ago but did anyone ever freeze to death almost at the later conventions?.
sometimes the whole place was so cold that my fingers went numb.
this was at the myriad convention center in okla, city..

We've been to the Myriad, but it was 25 years ago. And yes they kept the place cold. The opposite of the Myriad was the Sunland Park race track near El Paso The temp was 107 deg F one of the days. Never again

OK any Country Music fans out there?
by zagor injust to change topic from all this doom and gloom going on around these parts, makes me feel all queasy as if i'm attending watchtower ... so how about some country?
i love country music, always have.

I have been listening to country music as far back as my memory goes. Before we got TV in the Texas Panhandle I could actually tune in The Grand Ole Opery on Saturday night although the radio had to be tuned just so but pre teens have good steady nerves.
Thanks to Zagor for starting this thread and thanks for all for contributing videos and comments. This IMO, is the best thread ever. Bug
