the eagles have looked terrible all day, and donovan looks much worse this week than last week.
i don't know why i get my hopes up w/ the flyers, sixers, eagles, and phillies.

the reason that i am a little afraid is that four out of my five grown children are still jws and if they knew that i was on here.....well nothing would change, would it, they don't speak to me now.

thinking back to my most earliest of memories, i remember the wonderment of life.

mother seemed like a god to me the way she hung that laundry so effortlessly and happily.

and smoothed (pressured) him over, he will be here at noon saturday... my brother and i have worked him over on the phone , and he already admitts he can't prove jesus choose the wt in 1919 etc etc...as he can't get the older wt's.... so he's speaking presumptuously...... i did a little studying today , and he is in big trouble... we will keep him on the subject, at all costs... and the subject will be false prophecies of the wt... i have decided to just wing it, and throw out all kinds wt rotten food.... mike is hot over here and i'm quite sure we can have his head spinning in short order.... we are going to hit the finished mystery book hard... but i am open for any ideas to put the last nail in his coffin....john

my husband does not understand what my attraction is to this board.
i come and go on the boards, i'm not a regular by any means, but i find that the boards are a catharsis for me.
my hubby was never in the borg, and he doesn't understand how talking about it, and comparing experiences, and poking fun at the craziness of it all, can interest me.
I had been "away" for 20 years before I discovered this forum and thought I was doing fine. Talk about an eye opener!! I've discovered things I was not even aware existed, as I had buired all these thoughts for years.
My wife has trouble seeing where I'm coming from also, but lets face it, we are not all cut from the same cloth. We are all different and husbands and wives need to respect that difference. Bug

well, my daughter decided to write they letter.

she was generous and kind in her comments, yet concise and to the point.
This is so good, I really don't know how to respond. I would love to see the elders response to her letter, but as we all know, there ain't going to be an answer. Too bad. Bug
what do you think should happen to the two american pilots who fired on and killed the 4 canadians over in afganistan last year in the friendly fire incident?
this is a hard one.
as a canadian, i fully support the usa and obviously this disaster was not intentional and i'm sure the pilots must feel awful about it.
This will hinge on rather or not proper proceedures were followed. If not, the pilots are in big trouble. Having said that, we need to realize when bombs start going off, these incidents will happen. If any of you have any ideas as to how to prevent these incidents in the future, I'm sure the military would be happy to hear those ideas. Bug
