I guess most JWs at heart begin by being idealistic
Exactly, the only problem is the people who hold the real power, and they are probably not so Idealistic. In any organization, religious or political, follow the money.
azalo- revolution with what outcome?
Good question Ravyn. People who start revolutions feel they will come out on the top of the heap after the killing stops, and then they can enjoy the good life. In the US, Canada, UK, and Oz a revolution would help a very few at the expense of the many.
I believe that sometime in my lifetime the middle class will have virtually dissapeared, wealth and power will be concentrated in the hands of a very few elite
So, apparently we don't have that wealth and power concentration at the present time. Starting a revolution now would just hurt the masses. The old Soviet Union couldn't produce enough food to feed itself. Most western countrys have an abundance of food. Countries that are running short of food need to look at their political systems.
My hidden agenda is to illiminate Marshmallows from the face of the earth.
Yeru, I'm going to start looking for a recepie for marshmallows, in case you should suceed in your quest. I enjoy them, altho they are probably not the most healthy things on the planet. Bottom line, idealism is fine but it doesn't accomplish a whole lot, unless it is mixed with reality. Want a revolution? Revolt against the oil rich oil states where the money is concentrated in the hands of a very few. Bug
