On the other hand if you take time out from the WTS to take care of youself and to think things thru, I suspect things will be much better.
just got back from the doctor and he was alarmed at my liver function test.
he sent me for an ultrasound of my liver and i'm being tested for hep.. problem:.
my drinking way too much is because i have a hard time dealing with wanting to leave the 'truth' but can't.

this is an interesting thing .
wonder if any of you have heard what the governing body is telling the witnesses to do?
my 22 tear old son was e-mailed by his fanatic witness mom, my ex-wife.
Freeze dried that lasts 25 years, or so they claim.
take this test ;.

Well, I probably did "fair." However, the process of elimination helped a lot.
tajikistan bans jehovah's witnessesposted tue oct 23, 2007 8:22am aest.
ex-soviet tajikistan outlawed the jehovah's witnesses religious organisation on monday, saying its missionary activities violated the laws of the predominantly muslim central asian state.. "door-to-door missionary activities, calls to refuse to serve in the armed forces and their intolerance of other religions contradict the law," tajik culture minister mirzoshohruh asrorov told a news conference.. jehovah's witnesses in tajikistan could not immediately be reached for comment.. according to official figures, more than 95 percent of the tajik population belong to the sunni branch of islam and another two percent are shiites.
the tajik government though is strictly secular.
I am not in favor of any government banning any religion. Once the first one is banned others are in danger of also being banned until freedom of religion will be a thilng of the past. The best way to handle the witnesses is to point out their past history and current idiotic rules. Bug
I
am not opposed to hunting on principle, and I eat meat. I know its illogical, but I'm logical about most everything else
That is exactly how I feel JWdaughter. However here in the Texas Panhandle they are showing up in record numbers and becoming a hazard to rural traffic, so they probably need to be "thinned out." I let others do that dirty work. In my opinion they are too beautiful to shoot.
Illogical, yes, but that is the way it is and I'm not about to change. Bug
with the shit going down on this board as of late i'd like to post something really good that happened to me lately.
i got my brother jw brother back.
back in 2001 of this same month i posted about letting jw relatives go because i got tired of the pain of hoping those relationships would be restored when it seemed impossible.
I'm really happy for you and the rest of your family. So, what was his "tripping point?" What caused him to take the plunge and get back in touch with his family ??
Perhaps we will meet him at the next apostafest.
have you ever noticed that around here more is said when people are silent than when they are talking sometimes.
not anything in particular, i just noticed that when people get silent, there usually is a reason.
hard times, drama, can't comment...etc.
Awwww, you've done laid a guilt trip on me. Busy trying to think of something to say.
sorry, i embedded it, but i guess it didn't work.
it showed up on my computer.
thanks for posting it, wac.... .
Coffee, I got it by clicking on the Home page.
guys, when you are trying to woo a woman, in the early days before you get physically intimate, how do you show your interest in her?
How should I know ? I've been married 41 years !!!!
if a faithful devout jw saw her husband on a board like this or reading "apostate" literature, if she was so disturbed by her husband's actions and the husband justified himself, would you think that if she told the elders because she was truly concerned that her mate was going to leave "the truth" and ultimately not make it into the "new system", --------that this was simply a marital issue-----not a religious one?.
your opinions please..
I don't know what to call it, but there would be a divorce. How can a marriage survive if one of the spouses cannot be trusted. Bug
