  I was BANE...I have an apology to most of you.

  i was bane and i think i got banned because everytime i tried to log in i couldn't.

  i was defending the society as best as i could.

  Just to give a headsup on what a year later can bring.

  Hmm....Wonder what Outlaw and James Woods think now a year later?

  I read Crisis of Conscience over the internet but it was frustrating reading a book like that over the internet etc. So....A christian friend of mine that hates witnesses is finally sending me a copy of one. A REAL physical book! Very happy about that. Wifey and I are fine. Still running our little cafe. Told Elders we were going to spanish hall so they have not bothered me in a long time. Around a month ago I met a pastor at an English speaking church. I have not been back to the KH in a year and almost became Athiest. Well, the guy is nice and it was my wife´s former religion so we decided to go one time. FIRST time I have ever been inside a church for a service...The extending of the arms when singing FREAKED me out but the people were SO nice! Geniunely nice. Not fake ala KH. They even brought me Taco Bell after our first visit! We do not get that down here in Mexico so it was quite a thrill!

  I am having problems believing some things that they teach like Hellfire, Trinity and other stuff. But it is a non demininational church so they said I do not have to believe in everything. Sometimes I still wrestle with if Witnesses have the truth or not. I have read here for a year as well as JWfacts. Certain things still get to me though.

  as ive got cobe and my daughters fil coming round nxt wk to grill me, first time 2 of the blighters have turned up together so im expecting the inevitable.

  by the way not been to a meeting in 2.5 yrs after 35 yrs in the b/s,and just wondering how much they pressure to get the answers they want.

  i may be misspelling this guys name, but while i was in patterson doing long-term temporary (before i got accepted longer and moved to brooklyn bethel), this guy was my table head.

  he seemed to be really arrogant.

  his attitude towards me was very condescending.

  My Daughters House Burned Down

  my daughters house burned down and her and her husband and three children got out with just the jammies on their back.

  when her husband called his parents ( dad is elder and both parents are regular pioneers) the next morning, they told him they were sorry that they were unable to come and help as 'big wig' brother, head of the branch had just died and they were going to be with his grieving wife and son!?!

  it's been a week now and they are still a no-show as they are too busy with their bible studies and service to even see their son and three grandchildren.

  My house burned down in 1991. NO ONE offered clothes or anything. Never a visit, nor a phone call. Course the phone didn´t work after the fire but there was no effort to contact us.

  haha... Someone showed this to me BEFORE I was baptized and I still became one! The last thing the guy said was that they will probably change what a generation was. Sure enough the very next year after I had watched it the GB changed it in 1995. That STILL did not wake me up!

  I had cancer back in 1997. I am a cancer survivor. I know what I am talking about. The cure for cancer is found at your local grocery store. A box of baking soda mixed in water twice daily will cure it if you have it.

  so after 18 years (since the age of 5) i have converted from the jws to protastant christianity.

  i have been biblically shown what i believe to be truths about the trinity, hell, and heaven (ideas that i debated against classical christians for many years) since i left the witnesses.

  i read a lot of things on this site (as well as others) that really confuses me.

  I will be going to a non denominational church for the first time in my life this Sunday. It is mostly for my wife. I met with them and they were SO nice. Even brought me Taco Bell back from the states!

  Those on JWN still serving as elders...What if?

  apostates undercover elders (i know there are some professed elders on here) have you ever handled a jc envoling a publisher viewing sites like jwn or others and who question the gb etc.. and if not what if you were assigned a jc involving apostacy?.

  i would think this would be almost, if not an impossible situation.. kensho.

  Not to highjack the thread at all but I thought I was the only one fed up with certain people here and it´s because EVERYTHING they talk about is about their faith in the Bible etc. I do not want to ruffle feathers but when I see certain posters have commented on a thread I do not read them anymore but go on to someone I like here. So N.Drew...You are one I skip. And I know Tec is a really sweet person and all but I gloss over her´s too because of the strong connection to Bible stuff. Since leaving the Witnesses I am totally not interested in the Bible anymore except how I got misled by it. Love Terry´s posts as well as WTWizard, Minimus, and Moesch.

  I had been a witness 16 years and only knew of one apostacy case and he is still in good standing.
