If JW men are more compliant than most, itās because the Org has made a deliberate effort to divest itself of noncompliant men.
i've mentioned before how i've wondered how tony morris must have felt when he was sacked.

i was watching a youtube by jerome about religious freedom part 2. it was so disgusting to see the two jw testifying that instead of the congregation shunning those who disassociate, it is the person who disassociates that is choosing to shun the congregation.
the commissioners kept asking why someone who had been sexually abused had to be shunned if they disassociated ....jdubs talked in circles and never answered the question.
so glad i woke up and got out ...to support the org is a reproach to anything decent..

The kind of mainstream reform youāre describing basically eliminates all the unique things about the WTS that they held up as proof they had āThe Truthāā¦
ā¦theyād be just another denomination among denominations.
Take that line of thought to its inevitable conclusion, and the claim of āGodās Exclusive Earthly Organizationā becomes essentially nonexistent.
At that point, whereās the incentive for any rank-and-filer to stay?
