Cool Breeze,
Your writing style reads like you either swallowed a King James bible, or you just blew Bill Shakespear's corpse.LMAO!!! What a visual I just got!
ironically, we were discussing the watchman who stays awake night and day.. anyway, something was said that made me awaken and pay careful attention.
please, if anyone else who got this same information at their book study, please share it.. here goes:.
there was a picture of a man standing on the watchtower keeping on the look out.

what kind of dogs to you people have, and describe their personalities.. i have two jack russell terriers(jrt) ans one black pomeranian.. god, the two jrts are a riot!
dudley is the older one(5) and is the boss.he is faster and stronger than edgar.
dudley generally let's edgar chew on him, but when dudley gets pissed, he kicks edgar's ass.
TR,
Hey...I have a one year old Jack Russell too! He looks a LOT like Dudley, except he's a bi-color, rather than a tri (no black). His name is Recon. He is a little clown...funny, manipulative, inquisitive and SMART! By the way, does your Jack Russells go nuts over than "Domino's" pizza commercial? You know ding-dong...and then the dogs assume it is YOUR door bell? Maybe he's not so smart after all!
Then...there's Chico (nicknamed "Six")cause...well...he's always on your @ss. He's a two year old black and white Chihuahua. He's incredibly laid back, not at all like the sterotypical yappy little rat.
although i have never been a jw, the cover to the book, so to speak, sure looks good.
i have noticed many conveniences they thay enjoy:.
no christmas.
Hi Imbue,
No, I can't imagine being a JW is easy at all. I wouldn't say keeping pace with the WT schedule is "convenient" either! I once saw a diagram of the WT's "theocratic organization" and couldn't help but think...ya know, I've seen this MLM/pyramid plan before. Like a sales/marketing plan for "convenient...we've done all the homework for you" kind of spiritual success.

Never been one either...your post has some good observations from our "outsiders" point of view. Along the lines of convenience, comes the security of having all the answers and solutions to life's ...the worlds problems. Speaking of convenience...how about no consequence of unrepentant sin (hell)...just non-existance! WHOOPEEEE!!!!!!!
this weekend i went out with my lady friend.
we were talking about places that we wanted to travel to and about her birthday on march 15. we were talking about miami when i jokingly mentioned, "wouldn't it be cool if me and you could go to miami for your birthday?
" it was just a joke, but much to my surprise she told me, "yeah that would be a great idea!
Well, the age difference sounds like a big issue for her. Most women would probably agree that it is WAY more accepted if a 43 year old man is dating a 28 year old woman...hey "way-to-go, ya big mid-life stud" women generally don't get the same treatment, "Hey, is that your mom?" See what I mean? More power to the self confident gals that could give a you-know-what!
i have a question.
there's this friend who was df'd recently.
he has been snooping the inet.
Sadly...Orwellian.
...negativity?
you know, your having a pretty good day, you meet up with a jw whose trying to "witness" to you, by the usual opening rant of how horrible the "world" is...etc?
i resent being treated like i am too stupid to realize this is a way in which to introduce the wt agenda.

BAZOOKA!!! I think that stuff was invented by dentists, hoping to drum up some business. How did we ever chew that stuff?
i am not trying to be sarcastic.
however, it just doesn't make sense to me.
if a christian is one who "follows christ" how does that apply to the jw's?
Beck,
Yeah, it's a weird deal. I know my mom gets in a snit if the JW's are referred to as non-Christian yet at the same time wants to be totally distinguished from "Christiandom" or as she so delicately puts it "so-called Christians" LOL. I know they don't want that association! I've heard people from all denominations refer to each other as "brothers/sisters in Christ" and asked why they don't...I was told that "brother/sister" ONLY applies to fellow baptized JW's. Oh, well...membership has it's priviledges! I think it's all about whose at the of some percieved heirarchy.
from "just jws" site http://communities.msn.co.uk/justjws/general.msnw?action=get_message&mview=0&id_message=476&lastmodified=4675361990416533398.

we have ones who were former child abusers as we have ones who were former murderers etc etc, we do monitor these ones for the safety of our congregations and to uphold jehovah's clean standards.
Wouldn't that be Dumb-ass "ONES"???
