Friend gets "scriptural divorce" over wifes transgressions before they got married...
by sosoconfused inso i have a friend in a congregation in new jersey who recently called me to tell me that he got a divorce.
nothing surprising there at first but it is the fact of when it happened.
his wife began pioneering april 1, and after about three weeks she came to him and told him that about 4 years she had engaged in loose conduct (fondling the penis and the guy kissing her breasts) during a time that she was inactive.

Minimus, I am happy for your mom. Sorry about my rant but.......this is something that makes me a little crazy... I would have never believed this could happen to my mom.........but it did....and I have more stories about the last days my mom spent in her home, and the bad behavior of the JW.

JW are no better than people in the world. They say they are a worldwide brotherhood.....That is a big LIE. Because my mom out lived her friends and her congergation split a few times, she fell between the cracks. The young elders just wanted her gone.....If she had no family they would have stuck her in some home to rot.........Good thing she has 2 worldly human apostate daughters to rescue her.
In fact the JW husband called me on the phone to threaten me.....with putting my mom in a home. Never met such a mean evil person in my life !

Not for my 89 yr JW mother.......they kicked her to the curb after 58 yrs. Very sad ! There was one lady that would take her to the store every week, but her JW husband did not like it. He went to the elders and complained....it was too hard on his wife... because she was old too. The lady wanted to help my mom. and wanted to get away from her contolling husband........besides my mom would give her20 $ that she could hide from her hubby. When my sis and I went down for a visit ( we live 1200 miles away ) The elders met with us to let us know the lady could not help my mom. THEY could not help because she has family ....... WHAT !!!! yes they would not ask anyone to help her. If someone saw she was in need they could help of course........but they would not ask anyone because she has FAMILY....Well no one wanted to help !!!!! The worldly neighbor widow next door loves my mom....and did things to help her......The elders liked that and tried to encorage my mom to let her do more for her.
My mom did not want the neighbor ( shes worldly ) to take her to the doctor or shopping ! My mom was bainwashed all her life not to trust people of the world.
Being the smart ass I am.....I said to the elders " You know at this point in my mothers life, she would be better off if she was never a JW,so she would be open to being helped by the nice neighbor !!!! "
As I was writing this post my sis called to tell m
e the JW lady that was helping my mom, is now helping another JW lady.........
We did get my mom away from those crazy JW people.......sold her house and brought her up north.....she has a nice apartment
I know my mom's feelings were very hurt

to say that it took me five minutes to read the whole thing would be to flatter the rag.
it doesn't even seem to contain actual articles any more, just headings and bullet points and pictures.

Being a jw almost killed
by moley inthis is the first time i've commented on this site, but i do enjoy to come here just to help clarify myself in times of need, ie when those wretched teachings resurface.
a bit about myself.. i was born in 1970 into the wonderful happy organisation (lol) and had a unremarkable childhood or so i thought (apart from being abused by an ms), all i can remember is being terrified of dying at armageddon.
attending 5 meetings a week and being used to preach as people wont shout at a child, studying the literature, not being able to watch popular tv shows, no xmas, birthdays the usual shit.. fast forward to age 16 and i fell in love with a worldly girl (the horror) and got her pregnant, my parents were devasted talking all the time how people in the borg would view them, nothing about what i was going thru, 16 and becoming a father, quite a big thing to me.

by a big barn. It was so sad ! I can't even believe someone would do that to their sick son. You must be very strong to get through
that heart break. Good for you !!!!!!!
