Mom & Dad (Uber Dubs) and convo about child abuse within the BORG
by El_Guapo inso i tt mom and dad via skype last weekend (they live on the other part of the county) and the topic of abuse came up.
of course they went ahead and blasted catholics for their coverups.
i mentioned gonzalo campos, now mom and dad know this guy he went to their hall for several years in san diego.

I know the big A is just a fairy tale, but even when I believed in it many years ago I could not wrap my mind around such questions.
I never believed I would be in the new system. I thought if by some fluke I ended up there, maybe I would be the biggest sinner that still made it.
OK, maybe the second biggest sinner that made it lol........someone would have to be the second biggest sinner in the whole world to make it.
What would a JW's answer be to this question ? The biggest bummer would be the best JW that lost out because he yelled at his wife that morning. So he took the spot of being the BEST one who was destroyed. Someone would have to be that person. What a bummer to give your life to the org. only to lose out by .0000000000000001 % I know this is crazy thinking , but if JW's WERE right this would be a cruel fact . Sherry

My grandmother passed away at 4:55am

i'm sad.
she lived a long life, 90 years, and battled alzheimer's for the last 5 years of her life.

The very best one who still did not make it. SOMEONE has to be that unlucky person. Same goes for the worst one of all the people, but he just made it by the skin of his teeth. Who are those people, and how much difference is there between the two ??

The bible says that love covers a multitude of sins, I guess that is why I never felt guilty having sex with my husband before I married him. I married him in my heart before we got the piece of paper.Still in love after 25 years of marriage. Only in JW land does this have to ruin a relationship. Just like being baptized.... first you make the dedication and then you symbolize it by being dunked.
Guilt and fear, guilt and fear, a big reason a lot of JW marriages do not last. They forget....... LOVE NEVER FAILS !

Your post made me so sad. Sad that your boyfriend feels he MUST disclose intimate details of your relationship to other men. A good friend of mine told me ( right before she married ) her and her boyfriend stopped just short of going all the way. I guess she did not feel too guilty because they were planing on marriage. She did not run to the elders. He did not run to the elders. She become a pioneer and he became an elder . So They must have thought Jehovah forgave them. Right ? I'm sure she prayed about it !
If your husband is going to be all up tight about what is and is not allowed in the marrige bed. Well, I feel sorry for you. It sounds like he may want to go by the letter of the LAW. The LAWS that tells you what the WT has allowed and not allowed in your bedroom. ( The bible says you are one flesh ) There will always be Him, you , and the WT in bed. ( no oral sex )
What happens if you find out the truth is not the truth ? Your marriage could be over in the first year, or even before you say I do. Are you sure you want to follow the truth no matter wear it leads you? Is truth worth losing him ? I say YES ! But I'm not in love with him.
I recall in the bible, an engagement was like a marriage. ( the story of Mary and Joseph ) Joseph was a good man BECAUSE he did not run to the elders to tell them that Mary surely fornicated. ( Look at her belly ) READ the story !
Again, if you keep coming to this site, you are bound to learn the truth about the truth. You can not unring that bell. This will be really hard on you if you love him . Will he want you if you don't believe ? Probably not. So many JW's stop loving their mates if the mate stops believing in the WT. Not Jehovah, but the WT ( mother ) So many broken marriages ... What God has joined together , let no man pull apart. Unless the elders say so. (Spiritual indangerment ) So think real hard before you keep reading sites like this..........Some people are happier with their head burried in the sand, and the man they love. BIG HUGS Sherry
