Our most basic goal as organisms is to reproduce. We will reproduce at any cost. It shows how strong the watchtower cult is if it can have an impact on people reproducing

Jehovah's Witnesses and the Rh Factor
by Dogpatch injehovah's witnesses and the rh factor.
written by marlene mercado wednesday, 31 january 1996; revised 2012. .
i want to share with our readers an experience i had when two jehovah's witness elders came to my home to enlighten me regarding the new "technology" that allows for the taking of certain blood fractions with a clean conscience.

Personally I just tell the elder or ms to eff off and if they had a problem with it. Id pay some kid to give them a yardjob or throw dynamite in there yard. Then tell the elder or ms that your talking to an empty telephone and hang up

Is Watchtower Having Financial Problems?
by 2tone ini have to wonder if the watchtower is having financial problems of some sort.
at the very least they are spending more than they are taking in.
which would explain all of the cutbacks of the last decade.

Cyberjesus - How do we know this? Where are there lots and lots of money? I guess what I'm saying is that 9 million dollars spent on a assembly hall has to be a better rate of return than stocks or other similar investments.

Who is the audience we would make this short argument too?
I like Cedars point the best but its easily trumped with that Satan influences all of the historians into giving a wrong date

Awesome idea for a prank.
by baltar447 init would be super funny to pay a non-dub like, $20 to dress up like a smurf and try to attend a meeting at a kh or assembly while someone else posing as a dub films the whole thing.
maybe the plant could even wear a changable disguise and duck under his seat, quickly put smurf attire on, stand up, scream, "i'm tired of this shit!
", and run out of the assembly hall.. it would be epic.

Zordino - omg omg omg. I just remembered my bro and his friends left there bong in the backseat of the family vehicle on a friday nite. anways that saturday morning i went to the car early before service to look for the bags and stuff and I found a bong and I was like omg. I can only imagine the look on that poor old ladys face when she would have picked up that bong and said whats this. Or the time I kicked a box of condoms under my seat during service

Was everyone surprised by how nice worldly people can be?
by Inisc ini, like most born ins grew up being taught that everyone who was not a jw was inherently wicked, that they were dishonest, unloving, selfish, bad parents who don't care about their children, and also sad empty people with no direction in life.. as i grew older i started to see that this wasn't always true with every one, that what i was taught wasn't equating with what i was seeing.. by high school i could see that my friends at school, (yes worldly friends eek!
) we're actually decent people with morals, they may have engaged in a little fornication here and there but not promiscuously, and they were good honest people, with goals and parents that cared for them.. but after high school i was phsycologicaly bullied into ceasing contact with my friends altogether, leaving me with little contact with outside world, and the cult mentality had more room to grow, not fully, but enough to unconsciously not fully trust 'worldly' people.. however, once i'd left the org and began to meet people again, i was amazed at actually how good, honest, loving, kind, and caring many people can be!
who love their spouses and children and try their very best to be good parents and partners.

Hey ricky bobby
A little off topic but I always knew something was wrong with the theory that everything in the world was bad. Because my grandmother who isnt a witness was a devout christian and always volunteered so much of her time with social work. I just had a hard time believing god would destroy her

I have to wonder if the Watchtower is having financial problems of some sort. At the very least they are spending more than they are taking in. Which would explain all of the cutbacks of the last decade. I was thinking of three different things currently going on with the Watchtower that all together make me think they have some problems. I welcome everyones thought or feedback.
- We know that Watchtower is selling all there property in Brooklynn for roughly a billion dollars. They have already sold a few properties. Altogether it may take several years to sell off everything in Brooklynn and to completely relocate to wherever there going(hopefully in the heavens).
- They have just announced the cutting back of Watchtower and Awake literature. I'm no Watchtower Wizard(i sure hope he comments and includes something about gold or silver) but those two magazines have to account for the majority of there printing expenses. Most corporations make cutbacks within a year or two of when they would start having serious financial problems at best. It seems to me there becoming very conversative with there spending which goes against the saying of you have to spend money to make money. All I'm saying is that if they had the money coming in they would be spending it and producing as much propaganda as they could.
- This may be a small point and may only pertain to my geographical area. The Watchtower has made plans to build a ASSembly hall in Cincinatti, Ohio by selling the Indianapolis and London, Ohio halls and combining them. They have not even bought land for the new assembly hall as far as I know of. Let alone start building it. I understand these assemblly hall's will be such money making machines for the Watchtower. They claim it will cost 6-9 million dollars to build. If they had the money to build it why not build it so they have money coming in from people attending and they can charge whatever they want for it by sending the congregations the bill for it.
I guess what i'm thinking, the things they have been doing lead me to believe they don't have the long term capital to sustain themselves which explains all the cutbacks and combining assemblies. Obviously the majority of there money is tied up in real estate in one form or another. I they dont have the liquid cash right now to build a 6-9 million dollar facility on volunteer work then they must have problems.
