i grew up a jehovah's witness and jehovah's witnesses are always right.
that's where i learned to always be right and it took me years to realize that i could also "agree to disagree", although i still often forget about this.

my strange neighbor
by jam ina neighbor four doors south of me.
the night before our trash pick up he send his sons out (20-30 year old) with their trash and fill up the neighbors trash cans.
i was speechless when my next door neighbor told me this.

The next time I saw them doing this I'd yell (from a safe distance) "Hey what are you doing?! Stay out of my trash cans!" And if they tried to be confrontational, then I would call the cops. It would piss me off if I put a sign up and they just disregaurded it. It's your property! Then advise your nieghbors that they should do the same.

Hi Red Piller! My expirence with the JWs was pretty short-lived, it didn't take long for my bullshit detector to go off (thank God). At first everthing they said sounded somewhat reasonable, maybe the first two "bible" studies, but then she talked about earthquakes being much more frequent,(easy to prove false with the internet), then I was looking through one of the mags she gave me, and I looked at my husband and said "oh these are the people who refuse blood transfusions!!" I think my husband breathed a sigh of relief, he had no intrest from the get-go, and I think he was starting to worry! After that I kindof became obsessed with finding out all the crazy stuff they believed. I really enjoy reading this forum, even though I feel a little wierd posting, because of my limited expirence with the JWs, so I appreciate you makeing me feel welcome : )

Humans have only been around for 6000 years? I have a question...
by KristiKay inof corse i know that we've been around much longer, i think it's more like 250,000. what i'm wondering , is it even possible to turn 2 people into almost 7billion, in that short period of time?
and during that time, two white, or probably some shade of brown people gradually became all the differnt races we have today?
that dosen't seem logical, i know jws aren't logical, but did this ever cross anyones mind while they were in this religion?.

Sorry about the blank post. Hi everyone, I no longer study with the JWs, I finally just sent her a txt and told her that I felt they were false prophets. For some reason I'm still facinated by them though, so I still frequently read and enjoy the posts on JWN. Anyways if you have a facebook account, type Jehovahs Witnesses in the search bar, you will find a Jw facebook page, and they are positivly going crazy over the tsunami! It's soo sad, and I really gives me a look inside the JW mind that you don't get during a "bibile study", or an apostate websight. It's actually pretty scary. Take care everyone!
