What was the best KISS you ever experienced?
by Terry inthe phone rang in the art gallery and i answered.. the voice was a young woman's.. one of her two parrots had died rather suddenly.. she wanted a colorful frame for the memorial portrait.
could we accomodate her?.
the remaining bird was sulking.. i suggested parrots without partners.. i don't where my tasteless jokes come from.

Sex and drugs in university
by Xanthippe inso this jw friend that got in touch out of the blue a few months ago after 24 years of shunning us agrees that the borg is not keen on university.
it is so difficult to keep to your principles because of all the immorality there according to her.
yes same old story we have been hearing for years.. if that is the case they should be fine with distance learning.

Okay, I can't stop,
Elder #1 send all 4 of his Kids to a UNIVERSITY (they still live at home though)
Elder#2 in our OLD CONGO - sent his Daughter to a PRIVATE METHODIST UNIVERSITY WHILE HE WAS THE PO (and still is)
$40,000 a year and it was RELIGIOUS, NOT A STATE school!
ELDER #3 Sent their son to a STATE UNI, and now the kid has a Great Job making $150 K a year - we are so happy for them all!
MS Servant #1 - gets council from Elder body about sending his Daughter to Community College -

BARBARA ANDERSON - SHOCKING!!
by The Searcher ini don't know why, but it took me up until a few hours ago to read her story at http://www.watchtowerdocuments.com/ and it opened my eyes more than i'd have thought possible.
having researched the real truth over the past 3 years or so, i felt my disgust was complete, but i was wrong!
i used to think that bethelites had it made, being in amongst like-minded brothers and sisters every day, but it appears their little 'spiritual paradise' is just a facade.

Does fear of death equate to need for God?
by Monsieur inread a very interesting opinion article on cnn last night.
"why i raise my kids without god".. .
the writer aluded to the fear of the possibility of one's life ending forever (along with our beloved children's).

This is something that I really really wanted to talk about. I agree, once you have broken the chains of the WTBTS, you have to start thinking about ones own demise. Remember we are "cultified to thinking - one will NEVER die"
So with that being said, I STUMBLED upon a great book that I would like to share - MANY of you have read, watched and heard about it - "Tuesdays with Morrie.
I will say that one phrase has changed my life - “Learn how to live and you'll know how to die; learn how to die, and you'll know how to live.”
I love that saying - there are so many more gems - to get a list of them all - (see the link) he was a wise man, Morrie
http://www.goodreads.com/work/quotes/1995335-tuesdays-with-morrie
P.s. in the book he makes a comment about Job on the Tenth Tuesday -
"Mitch asks Morrie if he recalls the Book of Job from the Bible, the parable about a good man who God makes suffer only to test his religious faith. Morrie tells Mitch that in his opinion, God "overdid it."
